Issue: I'm trying to cloud login and it keeps loading for a few minutes and after that I keep getting this message: The game is experiencing some connectivity issues with Cloud Services. Please wait a few minutes and try again. (I am trying for at least 30 minutes)
EDIT:
I got a message from the Customer Care, they are aware of the cloud issue and are working on a fix
With their advice taken into account I worked out a half-fix for my issue (still can't save in cloud, but at least I can play and can see online store and Star Path)
What I did was:
- Opened the game as usual, tried to connect to cloud - got my error message
- Closed the game, restarted device (Switch console)
- Changed my internet connection from my usual (home router connected to optical fibre) to a phone mobile hotspot one
- Opened the game and on the main screen connected my cloud account - or at least tried, because it said my credentials are incorrect
- Reseted my password - still wrong credentials
- Closed the game and restarted my device (Switch console)
- Opened the game (still on mobile hotspot connection)
- This time cloud account logged in successfully
- Got into the game - checked Event and Shop bookmarks - showed nothing
- Connected on the Shop view - Shop showed
- Restarted the game (still on mobile hotspot connection)
- Checked Star Path and Shop - they are working! (As said in the beginning, cloud saving is still not working, I am playing on my local save)

Issue: Failed to upload Cloud Save to server is back again in force. Since the last patch it had been bearable with about 50% chance to cloud save. Now it's down to nothing but failures again. Presumably because of the extra server load. Get more servers or fix the code. It's been months. Literally no other application is this bad at saving to the Internet. If you can't code it, consider third party cloud storage and get help.

Issue: Unable to connect to online services (overall use of cloud save, event, etc.) Issue started about 2 days ago and remains consistent. No errors displayed other than online services being down. Taken measures include: redownloading game, checking internet connectivity.

Issue: Cloud save not working. Game has been shut down, console reset. Always had issues with cloud save only working when it feels like it, can work fine for days then not, or on the 5th attempt. Or only in the morning. Or only in the evening. Very annoying and been doing it since Day 1 launch!

My cloud save is completely messed up. I play between my Xbox and switch. My progress from update is completely gone from both systems. My moonstones are completely gone, I had 32k. It won’t let me get the castle skin because it says I already own it, but it’s not equipped or available to equip. Please someone help me.
Update to this ⬆️ I cannot play at all, it completely goes back to my cloud save from before update, every time

Issue: Will sync to cloud and it says that it was successful. When I log on the next day it says it’s still out of sync by 11 days. Don’t want to risk cross play to PC as it doesn’t appear to actually be syncing and don’t want to lose my progress. Had this problem since Update 2.

Issue: I played offline for a little bit and saved the game (local save). Now, it won't let me load the local save, everytime I select "keep local save", the window keeps showing "cloud save conflict" and I am forced to chose cloud save, which has less progress in game then local save. Issue: Game is still saying that I am not online even after I’ve reset my router and modem. Everything connects to the internet except for this game. I think it might be the Cloud Save. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Steam and Disney. Still nothing works. No idea what to do.

Issue: I've been trying to save my score to the cloud for hours, but it doesn't work. I always get the error message that the cloud could not be uploaded to the server. I have already created an account. Restarting the game and the Switch as well as completely turning off everything did not work. My internet works fine.

Received Error #10 when trying to log in and play game, but then when I restarted I was able to use my previous cloud save. However, my mining spots are all empty, I cannot pick up any herbs, Scrooges shop will not get new items and favorite gifts will not refresh

Main menu had me select either my Local or Cloud Save, chose Cloud, when the game loaded up it was the Local.
I quickly exited lest I lose 30+ hours of gameplay, tried again, same result. Game is thus unplayable on Switch.
I keep trying to save on cloud but evrytime it jeeps saying that it's not working ( i tried for weeks now and still can do it and i don't want to lose mu progression ಥ_ಥ )

Issue: Hello, I played all weekend through the Xbox Cloud on my cell phone, I saved normally and closed the app, so send the save to the cloud.
I went to play today on the PC, I chose the cloud version (to sync on the PC), but isn't happens, and it continues to load the old save from the PC (almost 4 days withour playing).
I go back to the XBOX Cloud on the Cell Phone, it tells me to choose between the cell phone save (updated) or the cloud save (outdated, but loaded by the PC). I load what's on the phone (so I don't lose the save) and keep everything ok.
But hey, is only the PC sending it to the cloud? I won't be able to play on PC anymore, if I don't lose my Save? :[
I cant connect to the internet. Im hooked up and all. Ive had this issue 1 other time

I play on the PC during the day and always make sure to cloud save before quitting. At night I like playing in bed on the switch but it’ll revert backwards hours and hours even when I choose the cloud save file.

Issue: my cloud save says that it is saved and In sync but whenever I try and play on another device I can’t because my save does not load it loads a lower level save from when I first started playing when the game came out instead of my current save It’s like my save isn’t really saving on Xbox even tho it says it is. im usually play on pc and save it to the cloud and everything fine but when i try to open the save on the switch its say its good but its old save, only the star path is sync
FOUND a FIX:
open the game on the switch and while loading open it on PC, you gonna get messege the game cant be online bc it open on another platform.
after that the switch will be sync and then just save to the cloud and connect again on pc.
hope it help for those who have the same problem.

It struggles to save to cloud... most of the time I have to exit without saving to cloud. Unsure why it saves sometimes to cloud but most of the time it doesn't.

Does this also work even though you have never saved to the cloud? I don't want to risk losing my progress? Playing on the switch and want to switch to pc.
Switch: lose internet connection in middle of game (internet is fine). It won't reconnect unless I close game completely.

Issue: Since today I cant login anymore. When I'm trying to login the cloud and click on "login" it does not work. I can reset my password and confirm it, but it wont save my login.

issue: i originally got the game on pc and got it again on switch so i could play on the go. the switch save data is now not transferring back into the cloud save, and is giving me this error message in perpetuity. if i click keep local save, the error message returns and i cannot proceed. i'm too scared to keep cloud save because i'd lose all my progress i made in the past few days. every time i close the game on my switch, it backs the data up again but resets whenever i reopen the game, as if it's never actually updating the cloud. how do i fix this so i can play on my pc again?

80+ days out of sync. No issues when I play on my PS5 version uploading to cloud, just on Steam. Why? I don't understand how this is still not addressed. This is literally a game-breaking issue for a touted feature of the game (cross-platform progression). I have already lost 50+ hours once.
probably not because you need to save to the cloud first before playing on new platform and keep progression

Issue: Loss of internet connection (started after this recent update). I’m unable to cloud save, as it says…”Online Services Unavailable”. I have no other internet issues in the house or with any other online games. Internet speed is fast and connected.

Issues : I upload my save to cloud just fine before i offed, but then I got error message and the game crash as soon as I do the local save..
when i re-open the game i have to pick between cloud or local (which doesnt matter to me, since its only 1 min diff due to that crash) but no matter what i pick it will perpetually give me the notice of cloud save conflict choice :\

Issues: My cloud save wont update. I've tried cloud syncing in game and it says it updates but when I go to check on the main menu it has a very old cloud save option. I'm going to get a new pc and really dont want to lose all my progress.

Issue: Since a login failure a few months ago, I cannot sync my local save with the cloud. Tough it was servers problems at first but a few months later still have the problem.

I’m unable to access my cloud save from my switch because it says my last cloud save was days ago. I’ve never had a cloud save issue before this.

Issue: I tried testing about the sync issue between XboxCloud and PC accounts. But now the game loads forever and doesn't start at all, I've looked for errors and reinstalled several times, nothing.

It started working again on its own for a couple of days, and then yesterday it couldn’t connect again

Issue: My game tends to freeze and or crash when it goes out of sync with cloud. This tends to be an issue every hour almost for me. I now try constantly saving to cloud and each time it says "fully synced." But then after about an hour or so of playing, the game will lock up or crash. When I log back in, it says the game is out of sync for 1+ hour. Which tells me that my cloud is not syncing. This has been an issue for me since the 2nd update where it only crashed now and then before - but since the previous update, it's almost every hour.

I haven’t been able to cloud save since update 3 and it wasn’t something fixed in todays patch so here I am again.

Issue: Recieving message on startup: "The game is experiencing some connectivity issues with Cloud Services. Please wait a few minutes and try again". I am unable to log in or save to cloud, but I can play offline - though shop and event tabs are empty. When I installed the game on my laptop, and used mobile hotspot to access the internet, everything worked as intended - still unable to connect using my home wifi. I took a break from the game, and came back late February - problem might have started around February 16th update. And the event time is passing without chance of getting items

No cloud saves, just a circular pattern of clicking Keep Local Save. I can't have my computer in the wifi at ALL if I want to play the game, so instead of having it open on a side screen while I go through my work day, it's staying closed except for the few minutes I go in to check the dailies.
I can't access the store since it won't connect properly to the internet without blocking me into that cloud save loop.
What happens if this isn't fixed in time to buy the items from the Premium Shop loading in a few minutes? Will it be fixed before the next reset since we have no guarantee if it when things will be back? (FAQ still says "may" return, that's not reassuring like Ryan tried to make it seem)

Cloud Save Not Working
PC Steam, Every time I save my game to the cloud, when i go to reopen the game it allows me to play for about one minute and then it freezes and crashes, also when I look at my cloud save it says its not there.

I play on Xbox one and I've been having problems saving to the cloud since the February update, I have only managed to save the game to the cloud once since then but I haven't been able to save to the cloud for 20 days now which means I can't log in anywhere else because my game progress will not save apart from locally. I messaged Gameloft on day 11 and have still not had a reply with any solutions to try and fix it, I have tried logging out and I get an error message, I have tried swapping my internet over and restarting the console etc but nothing works. Also the game crashes that much that it puts me off playing some days which is a shame because I love this game.

I bought a switch version thinking I’d be able to use cloud save since my Xbox cloud save was up and running. When I try logging in I get the message this game is having cloud save issues, please try again in a few minutes. I’m on kind of limited WiFi, could that be a problem?

I had to bring my computer in for maintenance and was wiped. Once I logged into the cloud save to get my progress back it's acting as though I'm logging in for the first time. I had mostly completed all that was available, how do I get it back?

I use cloud save for PC and Switch. However, the cloud saves (although it says it’s the correct file) displays a different game.
i.e. i bought everything in scrooge’s shop on my pc, cloud saved, opened the game on switch and it showed me new items in scrooge’s shop. The amount of stat coins are also incorrect.

Everytime my kid tries to login on my steam account instead of hers it says that she cannot because there is already an account registered to that address. Yeah we know, so why can't we login? She had a steam account but I had to remove her access for it for sometime because of other games. She still wants to play dreamlight so I said she could use my steam. But now when we load it up its not letting her log in when we press the login button and all the info is correct. so? What are we doing wrong? She is trying to login to dreamlight on my pc. On my version of dreamlight. I have a character on my dreamlight but have not saved it to anything. And can delete my character if it will help. As I just started.

Platform: PC, Microsoft - issue resolved! Turns out it was my internet connection, as people had mentioned. We upgraded our modem and I got a new wireless adapter for my laptop, then I was able to save to the cloud for the first time.
Platform: PC (deluxe version) and switch (base version) , lost progress and access to all my d100 event rewards , even though I completed the whole event and unlocked all the rewards.

Never ever could save my game since day 1 I bought the game
Xbox one. Cloud save out of sync (5hour+) somehow so failed to cloud save. Upon relaunch the game used last cloud save instead of local save; basically lost an entire play session (with the exception of my event progress which was untouched weirdly)

PC - Steam. Can't save to cloud but can import cloud save. Can't load local saves either, it just loops back to asking me which save to use and then not accepting local saves. Works fine on Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Had a thought that it might be related to pihole blocking. Disabled pihole and it still won't talk to the cloud save servers.

Issue: played on switch recently and kept saving to the cloud. Tried playing on my pc today and it wouldn’t sync up. So I went ahead and just quit the game to play on my switch. Now I’m missing 7 days worth of play time on my switch because it used the save cloud file from when I played last on pc even though I avoided saving to the cloud before quitting the game on pc to avoid this exact issue

Issue: since starting the game when it came out it would not save to the cloud at all when I used different internet recently it saved to the cloud without any issues but now on the same old internet that I usually play it on I’m in a state that I cannot progress or play the game at all. It is giving me a cloud save and local save conflict which I cannot resolve because the local is where my progress was made for the day and it would just keep loading and put me back to the conflict menu that I cannot get out of unless I pick the cloud save option but then I’ve lost all the progress. Basically in a state of not being able to progress at all. And I tried disabling cloud save so I can just have it saving locally and make progress again without the cloud save but it could not load that either and wanted me to start a new game instead. Hope this is something that gets fixed cause as of rn I cannot play the game at all anymore.

I’ve recently bought my own PC and Xbox account, I tried to log in with cloud save but it says it’s linked to another account (boyfriends). Is there any way to transfer it from my boyfriends to mine?
