Switch: Crashes at least 1 time per hour of game play. This morning it crashed after opening one if my storage chests. Other times have been buying stuff at Scrooge's or after character dialogue for completed storyline missions

Issue: game crashed upon exiting the Mystical Cave after retrieving the second book for Remy (I retrieved the second book last)

Upon returning to the ground level and attempting to turn the camera and then open the menu the game froze and then crashed. I believe I was also holding the shovel while this happened (which has been upgraded to the point of being able to take out the tree stumps)

Bug started yesterday, i play on xbox

When fast traveling between wells the selection menu of wells doesn’t close after traveling, sometimes it moves you to the wrong well and if on a realm it will keep spawning in the realm even when a well is selected. Only way to get back is closing game and opening again.

This is only when traveling via fast travel menu, it doesnt happen when clicking the well directly on the map

I’m pretty sure it’s not intentional but I can’t say for sure. Plenty of people have mentioned it in graphics and visuals as seemingly a glitch. If it’s on purpose I think they have to add effects or something to indicate that.

I bought both my Mom and I the Ultimate packs on Switch and immediately set up Cloud Accounts for us. While my switch and game isn't having issues hers is running into a few problems.

1. She always has internet connection fails. We have restarted her switch, closed out the app and everytime it gives her internet connection failures. We have sat together in the same room and mine will connect fine but hers never does. (as an example: she can't open a single blue chest).

2. She moved her house very early on and now there is no Scrooge sign outside of her door. She can't edit her house at all and doesn't have an elevator inside.

At this point she doesnt want to restart but she isn't sure what her next step is especially since she cannot save it.

Inside of homes there is 0 lag, but when I try to leave the game goes to black loading screen freezes there and crashes.

Hi, were you ever able to get past this point? I'm having the exact same issue--"The Curse" tells me to meet Ursula in the cave, go into the cave, collect five more Night Shards and Dream Shards, leave the cave, objective disappears and quest tells me to meet Ursula in the cave again--and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get anything moving forward. No one in the cave has a quest icon or one to give when I talk to them, and I've scoured the entire available land (Plaza/Meadow/Beach/Glade/Forest) and haven't found a single Night Shard location.

Re: the “ItemIsHidden” error:

I have noticed that the items with which this error is occurring do not show in my “collected furniture” tab, so it seems the game is treating them as uncollected even though they are in my inventory

Also, the first Moana quest to help build her boat doesn’t work for me. It causes my game to freeze as soon as I get to her realm and start walking around and I lose all of my progress. Playstation 5: I have a serious issue. With the Mother Grothel quest, I had to find a shard in the morning, but it wouldn't ever show up. Woke up early, stayed up late etc. Got so tired of it that I tried to change my time settings on console a few times to see if that would help. Wich also didn't work, so then I decided to just grab everything from the ground in sunlit. Then found the shard under a flower 🤦🏻‍♀️ Like really. I wouldn't have ever found that. Anyway, I change back my time settings to normal.. And now my whole game is messed up. Crops that I can't harvest, fruits that won't spawn anymore, fish dissappeared from frosted heights etc. A whole lot of things. Anyone else encountered this issue? It's due to Disney bugs and errors that I changed the time in the first place to hopefully find this shard and now idk what to do. Can't collect any herb from the ground either.

If you messed with your time and moved it forward so the game time would, you need to wait to let it catch up for as long as how you set the time. Don't know if that made sense but I tried.

The game will occasionally crash if I plant or harvest alot of vegetables, but now things like fruit plants, Mining rocks, and even scrooge's store inventory isn't updating. As well as my vegetables are no longer growing and can't be harvested. I've tried forwarding the time by a few days to see if that would reset it and fix the issue but it's still just stuck like everything is frozen.

Issue: The Fast Travel menu froze on screen. You could still pick a place to travel to and actually teleport there, but the menu wouldn't close once I arrived no matter what buttons I clicked. Had to force quit the game. Thankfully the auto save feature in this game is pretty great and I haven't lost much of anything progress wise so far. And I do my best to save as much as possible just to be safe since this is an early access version of the game. I just hope you can get these menu freezing things fixed in a future update since the menu is kind of an important feature to the game. Thank you!

Taking the time to put together a system for us to report our issues and doing what they can to make it even better as more people report and play the game. PC: I don’t have “crashes” exactly, but it’s ASTOUNDING how many times the game will just take away my ability to move or exit out of a screen. Therefore I have to restart the game. Switch, I noticed that when the system goes to save is when it is most laggy and most likely to crash (around every 4 or so minutes). Every time you enter a house/building etc it has like a 70% chance it’s gonna crash if it hasn’t saved in a while (4-5minutes) so I have to save before entering and leaving a building. also teleporting to wells causes crashing, farming causes a ton of crashes and also causes a ton of lag (I only have 300 crops). it crashes for me probably every 30 minutes or so sometimes more.

Hello! I play on the PS5 platform and sometimes while I am harvesting crops and a memory pops out of the ground. I will open it up. The picture will show up on the screen, I then proceed to hit the back button and the pictures is ever so slightly transparent on the main screen and then the game music and everything is going on while I cannot move or open inventory or anything because the game crashes due to the memory picture.

I've noticed my crashes are fairly consistent with opening the menu. It dont do it everytime I open the menu, but everytime it crashes its usually because I tried to open the menu.

And hour and a half later after harvesting 300 pumpkins after all the crashes I have gone to replant them and it's going through the action of planting but not planting them only planting one in maybe every 10-15 🤷🤷🤷 I have opened a case about the lag etc with Gameloft. UPDATE: Reinstalling the game did not fix it. Downgrading to the older driver version didn't fix it. I had to rollback my PC/Windows to a week ago, but now I can play again. 😮‍💨

Same I feel exactly the same. I think they personally should fix the actual game first prior to releasing anymore content into the game. Fix the major problems first. To be releasing another patch in three weeks with more content. My game is unplayable. At the very least Gameloft should give all switch users a free code so we can port our game onto another device that actually works so we can carry on playing. Hi, I think I figured out some of the tells for the crashes (since they keep happening to me a lot) so the 1st one- whenever it rains in game: the music starts acting spotty so I usually have to stop moving for about 10-15 seconds for it to smooth out with a little lag each time.

Two- if I start moving buildings, trees, furniture, putting down paths, etc for a long time; whenever I try to exit out and start playing again, it will lag like crazy before randomly crashing and I loose what ever I had been doing.

Three- when i go into the collection to look at meals or my characters and switch around between tabs before closing; I get this weird visual of looking above (like if I designing the biomes) before it randomly lands at the beach or another biome in the opposite end of where I am before coming back to my character.

Four- about 2 days ago after a crash, I wasn't able to view a few of the characters favorite gifts (1st picture) and it wouldn't show up when I spoke with them.

Five- after moving things in my house or cooking/crafting for a while when I try to leave- I get this random screen that I can't exit out of until I manually close the game. (2nd picture)

Six- going back to the crashes; when I do a lot of gardening and one of the memories pop out and has a small part of a memory, 2 out of 5 times the game crashes but when I come back into the game it will let me get the memory and not crash.

Sorry for the long rant- I figured having as much detail as possible will make it easier for you guys. You guys are doing great and thank you for your hard work.

At the beginning of playing, my game didn’t crash too much. The longer I’ve played and the more characters added/areas unlocked, it’s crashing constantly. I try to save often but still end up having to redo some things. I’m on Switch. It’s just gotten buggier and buggier the farther into the game I get. EDIT: it seems to happen the most when cooking or opening storage, but will also just crash randomly when I’m running around.

Just got the last book for Remys request (on switch) and went to pull up my map to see where Remy was. When I brought up the map and tried to click Remy to go to him, it wouldn't let me go to any part of the entire different options, such as settings, or collection. It also wouldn't let me fast travel or get out of the map at all. I had to then, exit the game.

Last night I was closing out my game and I hit return to title screen to force a save like I always do and I ended up with a black screen. I had to go to my Home Screen and close the game completely. After that I went back in the game and luckily the last autosave had been recent enough so I hadnt lost any progress. I went to title screen again and had no issues closing out the game. I am having this exact same issue, the screen flashes when the dialogue indicates a cutscene is about to happen, then the quest continues without showing it. The quests aren’t impeded, but I am missing out on the story/animations.

Since expanding my house I have been unable to move the radio and table. This is getting in the way of the door.

Yeah, I regrettably paid that much, too. Even as an early Christmas gift, I wish I hadn't. I like the game but they should have let it cook longer. I'm worried that the rumors about this looking like a cash-gran are true although they clearly put a lot of work into certain aspects of the game.

Give it time. It's a beta. They communicated with a clear message. I suggest we keep our opinions when the beta is in a later stage. Give them time to prove themselves towards the community.
We are their QA. This is the tactic they went for, and we accepted that when we paid. What I'm not really fond of is the false advertising that shows a "finished" game, luring people to what they think is a finished product. I hope people do their research before they purchase.

Several crashes today. But the ones that get me are right after getting a bunch of materials picked up or sold and everything gets lost. I went to talk to goofy and give him a gift and when it opened my pockets my screen froze and wouldn't do anything. I had to force close and then the switch said there was an error and had to close the game 😕. Just after picking a bunch of harvest I picked up a glowing orb and it glitched and closed out losing part of my progress. Just now again I have been trying all day to get my 30 iron ingot and was waiting for the rocks to respawn so I was making a dress. 20mins into making this dress it just closes out with another error 😡 I never get an error code for any of these.

I'm also having this issue, crashing every 20m or so. It doesn't always save either, and there is no warning, so progression in tasks and collection of materials is becoming tedious as you have to repeat everything twice. I find that I am going into the save menu to manually save every few minutes ruining the flow of the game. It's also VERY laggy. Everyday i've logged in for the last few weeks it's been slow and it doesn't always fix, even with a restart. These issues are making the game impossible and unenjoyable to play. ISSUE SOLVED. Platform: PC Microsoft. Issue: game would not launch Resolution: my computer had a notification there was an issue with my Microsoft account. I clicked on that, put in my password, and now the game works. Therefore, my problem was not on the game’s end. Sorry for the trouble. I hope this helps others.

Issue: the game does NOT like it when I'm trying to move around multiple outdoor items. After completing some 20 minutes of shifting and moving items, I hit the save and exit button and get this screen. This video is only 30 seconds, but I left it for about 10-15 minutes hoping to God it was just taking a while to save. I ended up having to do a force close and lost all my work. This kept happening whenever I tried to move multiple things around. Finally, I decided to move 2 bushes/trees at a time, exit, save, then go back to moving a few more items. It's insanely frustrating to do anything here. Building? The controller is way too sensitive to place anything precisely. Digging, planting seeds, farming crops takes ages. My character stops after every crop and it takes ages until she continues farming... Loading times are horrible as well. Bought the game again on switch to play in bed or when I'm on the train but it's just super frustrating coming from pc where everything works perfectly fine :(

The amount of crashes for the switch is unreal. When it’s not crashing it runs great! But it’s genuinely at such random times. I try to save the game every 10 minutes so that way I don’t loose a bunch of progress

I was organizing my inventory and basically dumped everything I had on the ground in the meadow. I was very close to goofys stall if that matters. I left a few things in my inventory like my iron ore and a few night shards . But i had a pretty collection of gems that I had recently mined and those got put on the ground.
1st i noticed that when i was moving the curser through the inventory the images of the left items were literally glitching visually. I closed the inventory and moved off of the items i just dumped on the ground and attempted it again. Same deal glitching. I attempted to go to the wardrobe section to see if i would get the same response and it it immediately crashed. I reloaded the game and when i came back all of the items that I had placed on the ground were gone. 😦 I know its a long shot...but is there anything I can do get this stuff back?

I've gotten this bug a couple times and not sure why i haven't reported it. I know the cause and its a pretty bad one.

Issue: When collecting a new Memory, if you try to exit to soon, the memory will get stuck on the screen when you exit menu, and then you're stuck and need to restart. HOWEVER

Second Issue: 3/4 times once the first issue has accrued, when trying to reopen the game I receive an Error message;

The only way to open the game after I've received this is to restart my whole PC.

Issue: Unlocked the Forest & it won't let me enter.
Cause: I just unlocked the Forest with Dreamlight, and it won't let me pass into the new area despite the thorns being gone. She walks like she is walking into an invisible wall. I went into a house to see if it would reset, and the thorns returned... but the option to unlock is gone and I did collect Dreamlight for opening a new biome.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this issue, but nothing else fit this bug. Going to try restarting to see if that fixes it.

I am playing on PS5 and for the most part, it runs smoothly. There are a few hiccups here and there but nothing major except for one thing I have noticed recently and it seems to be a pattern. I will open the map to fast travel or look and see where a certain character is, then it suddenly blanks out and freezes. The game completely crashes and I have to restart it. Thanks for all of your hard work. The game is amazing.

Some tips that have helped me somewhat play on the PS4 with some crashes.
~ Remove all the trees, rocks and bushes from the meadow.
~ Remove most of the trees and rocks from the other biomes. Plant a few if you need wood for quests.
~ Make sure your cloud save is current.
~ Save your progress after you do things. Like farming, quests, storing stuff in chests, after buying things etc.
~ If you can try to avoid going into buildings to look for characters wait for them to come out. Harvest, mine, fish to stock up your chests.
~ Don’t go into your house. Keep chests outside.
~ Don’t plant more than 200 crops.
~ Don’t open memories or blue chests.
I know this is a headache but if you’re far enough in the game you will only need to be stocking up on supplies to get you by and planting a pumpkin farm for coins for the next few weeks until they fix it. This method still has crashes but not as much as not being able to play and the saves have helped me keep my progress.

Yes, on PS4 also. Just mining, fishing, and farming. No Quests available until Moana finishes. Shop daily, even though it often crashes. If I get in the store I can usually shop. Wait 5 min, 5 Sec until I leave to make sure it saves. Don’t even dare to click to see how long til the next save.

My 3 switches in our home crash multiple times each day since we started playing the game (separately purchased 3 game editions). We try to randomly save often but sometimes we lose over 5 min of work. This is frustrating for sure and does make us stop playing when it is a big data loss.

I came out of the furniture part when I was finished and I had 4 coconut trees instead of 3.
I was over the moon, I thought I had duplicated it.. Turns out it was one of my 2 new cherry trees! 😭
It turned a cherry tree into a coconut tree 😭😭😭 so now I only have 1 cherry 💔

I can no longer buy anything from Scrooge's because it crashes a few seconds after I've entered the store and what's the point of making money when you can't even spend it? I'm afraid to open my menu because it crashes my game sometimes, as well. I can't build Prince Eric's at all, it crashes every single time after I pay Scrooge for it and the construction is supposed to begin. I cannot pick up memories, I can't go into houses often. Sometimes, I can't talk to people. At any time, something could make it crash so I try to save often but it will crash after I save, too. It's essentially a stressful torment to play.

On Xbox I'm regularly having an issue where at times I'll go to my map and it will be completely blank except for the fast travel locations and myself and when this happens I cannot fast travel, I cannot tab over to another section other than the map, and I can't back out of that screen. Sometimes when I get on the map to fast travel it does not work but I can see everything and go to another tab and leave that section, but if I go back to the map it will then be blank and I'll have the aforementioned issue. The only fix I have found for this is to restart my game but then I am having to redo some things because I could not save prior to having to restart. For the past 2 days this has been happening more frequently and is becoming increasingly disruptive to my gameplay

I’ve figured my game crashes far more frequently when placing furniture. I’ve only just noticed it but I also think I’ve only just started to decorate my house properly, lol. Was playing on xbox one and saved my game. I then went to upload the latest save file to cloud and my system froze and crashed. I had to restart the whole console manually. When I loaded back in, the cloud save hadn't finished and my last 5 hours of gameplay had been deleted

My game broke after I unlocked the sunlit plateau.
I had no fishing spots anywhere, so I obviously couldn't complete "A Fishy Dispute", Most of my characters had disappeared, I had like 6 on the map and all of my critters disappeared except for the squirrels.

I tried going in and out of Anna's house, nothing changed, then I went into mother Gothels tree, came out and everything seems to be back to normal

Issue: Missing critters in collection after game crashes. I fed a fox and unlocked him as a companion/gaining him in my critter collection. When I went to the menu,l the game immediately crashed and now I no longer have the fox even after feeding it again. The same thing has happened with other animals. I continue feeding them, but they won't trigger the collection count, nor add themselves as a companion. The black and white rabbit has been fed over 10 times, the black sea turtle has been fed over 7, and now I'm afraid that the classic fox is going to start having the same issue.

I am not affiliated with disney or gameloft, but which xbox? I have tons of problems on my gf's One S doing that, less on my X. Neither are the newer "Series" X or S. When it starts happening, a full reboot helps a lot (hold xbox button, pick restart console). I suspect a memory leak that makes it choppy then crashes

I can't move, all I'm able to do is fast travel to another location, which still doesn't remove the menu. My only recourse is to close the game and restart it, which is very frustrating if it's been a small while since it saved.

In the last 2 hours, 5 total crashes on the Nintendo Switch and it normally happens after opening and closing the maps page or toggling through the menu. Also if to many items are moving on the screen at once.

Whenever we try to show Moiana the fish, the game crashes.
FYI: When we initially started the quest, we had to end the game when we were on the boat to show her the fish. The next time we played we started in the hub world and when we entered Moiana's world we were back on the beach instead of on the boat. Since then we cannot complete the quest.

I've played for about twenty hours on the Switch and crashed on average twice an hour sometimes more. It mostly happens when I've been in my house using my inventory and then go back outside. The other occurrence is when I'm gathering lots of crops with a friend and lots of things spawn and I accidentally talk to the person.

My game constantly crashes and it's not consistent with why. I've had it when entering or exiting a building, going in or out of the main menu, using a storage chest and traveling to other areas to name a few. I'm starting to crash more and more frequently, I play on Xbox one, and it seems even though I save every 1-2 minutes, I'm still crashing.

I didn't start crashing at all after the 1st 2 days I played, but the 3rd day I used the well, and then shortly after it crashed. It's whenever we use any options on the game, it seems to cause it to crash I believe.

I understand it's being worked on, and I'm totally patient with it, it just makes me kinda scared in a way, that I don't wanna play bc it'll crash while I'm trying to do a quest or something needed. (I think this is the right thread). Since update I will try to teleport to a well or when I collect a memory and it pops up I am unable to exit out of the menu and have to force close the game. PS4- my game crashes every 10 minutes. More often when a character is attached to me. 75% of the time going in and out of buildings. 25% of the time when opening a new memory or bring up menu. Always crashes after creating my own clothes. Always crashes going in and out of scrooges store while doing the treasure hunt quest. Possible reasons the crashes started? I have deleted or moved all my trees in all the areas. I moved the wells to the unreachable areas and collected everything in those areas then moved them back out. I moved all the house/buildings repeatedly. My game only crashed a few times the first 10 hours of game play but now it does it so often it’s unplayed. I payed money for something I can’t play. This should have been free with so many issues.
