I do think there are some out there trying to work toward a better offering for disability representation in games, but most of the ones I've heard of are set characters in other genres, sometimes side characters, instead of a customizable player character in a life sim

yes I am. just so tired. we were both very quiet this past weekend because we not only had family in town but our oldest was graduating with her bachelors. Our days since Thursday,
Thursday: family came into town & visited with family
Friday: morning ceremony and graduation party in the evening
Saturday: visited with family and then graduation ceremony in the evening and visited with family some more.
Sunday morning said bye to family. So it has been a busy 4 days.

Can you clean it for me? I'm like absolutely not. Boss asked you if I clean it he will not know how well you clean it and will expect my perfection every time. It also takes 15 mins. I'm already there 1-2 hours after everyone else leaves why would I willingly take on an additional 15 mins after a 10 hour shift? -then get a talking to for 'milking my time'

From what I see so far, a repair desk (you used to have to just throw away broken tapes, now you can repair them), a sidewalk sign you can change to give different boosts and new decorations. :3

I'm on a waiting list to be tested. Apparently there wasn't enough proof as a child that the government funded testing will take me on because they're looking at the stereotypical symptoms and not more current things that I very much showed and show. But all my doctors, my parents, and disability workers etc are convinced I have it so now we just wait for the official whenever that happens 🙃

Oh my goodness. I had a Barney movie on VHS and one of the previews was for that version of CATS! I hated it so much I would panic run to the tv to fast forward when I couldn't find the remote 😂

My doctor refused to diagnose me as a kid because quote “it wouldn’t change how we treated it” all I got were three sessions of therapy before the therapist left 🙄 and that’s all they did. But she was sending other kids to be diagnosed at the same time 🤦‍♀️.
