Thankfully where my house is located it’s not in any of the valley areas so most we get is a couple inches of water on the ground and might lose power for a few hours if it gets real bad … but for the most part it’s not bad for me thankfully … some parts of town though gets a few feet of water on the road … and people will drive through it for “fun” and they get upset and blame the water when they get stuck and their car gives out from being water logged haha

It’s fun to watch the big truck go through it because the water don’t even cover their tires because they are lifted … but like dummies in little Honda civics try it when the water is literally over their hood haha

I can tell you from learning from the foster , and then babysitting , Zolas first best friend who was also terrified of fireworks … get dissolvable melatonin , and a white noise machine … give them the melatonin early , take them out for potty break and then put the noise maker on and keep them in a room with you and the noise maker and a lot of the time they will sleep right through the fireworks … the last 4 times I kidnapped Zolas buddy on fireworks night before he moved away , he slept right through it with no fear because I had got it down to a science lol

Yeah this happens every year because we go so long with no rain , the first big storm floods everything … and lots of cars are left stranded in it because their owners wanted to be “cool” and tried to drive in it and water logged it …

One year I literally drove to the outside of the flood area and sat with a coffee and watched people try it and laughed at them … it was good watched the lifted trucks go through and the splash they made … except one scared me because he got too cocky and hit the ditch and flipped over in the water .. but he was fine . The truck even lived was just water damage in the cab because he couldn’t get the tow truck to get it out until the storm ended and water drained

its almost 7am and depending on the times ppl are probably sleeping/working/etc theres bunch of ppl here from different time zones. plus we like to talk about the game so were in the other channels alot to.

Yeah thankfully where my house is located we really only get a few inches of water in the yard and makes it really muddy … we even only lost power for like half an hour . Thankfully the worst of it was after I was home and didn’t have to drive in it .
