The sound issues are on all platforms, on the Gameloft Trello board, it just says they are aware that navigating from Dream teams menu to quests and baclk to normal gameplay can mess up the sound, also indicates that there's a possible workaround by speaking to an NPC fixes the issue. So if yours is caused by this problem, maybe try it and see if it works. Guessing the earliest it will get fully fixed is when the next update lands if not later

Joining a DreamTeam should be perfectly safe! The interaction there is actually fairly minimal.

You do want to be careful with Valley Visits though, because some players who open their Valley to others have done things to their game which violate the ToS/EULA and it could result in bugs, game breaks, or actions against your account. See #5 in our #📄rules and these posts for more information:

Spawn rates are weird in the DLC's. Do you have an an ancient vacuum (not sure what level you need) if so try placing it in both sides of the bind, it may detect any hidden cones, lots of the spawnables really like to hide. If you have a level 4+ dog critter, (pretty sure dogs can pick them up - hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong) take it along for the ride as well, they may find any hidden cones, and may give you a bonus or two
