What I want to know is this, in order for me to put something in my four boxes that I need, I need to physically have it in my inventory and be able to select it. That completely defeats the purpose, if I'm understanding this correctly, because the whole reason I want to put it in my request slot is because I DO NOT have it.

I'd say probably visiting each others valleys to see them and share inspiration. You can also show off and share your created items in Daisy's fashion shop. My friend uses an elegant cabinet I made and it looks great where she placed it. And if you create a discord chat for your group, maybe you can help each other on quests if you're stuck. Also, you could just visit each other's valleys to trade big quantities so you don't have to always use the request feature. The real answer, nothing. I don't know if they'll incorporate some kind of contribution system or not. But until they do, it's really to try and be a little more social. And if you're good with the dream snaps, you could share it with the group so they can try and get inspiration from that if you wanted.
