Sorry this is happening. It may help others to know more about it whenever you post here (although be sure not to post your offer too frequently or it could be seen as spam).

The feature is brand new and people may want to be on a team that "speaks to them" or that has a playstyle/atmosphere they think they will mesh with, so it makes sense that some may switch out for another if they see one that does that for them. In your case, maybe you can make sure to include that you play at a leisurely pace and welcome others who are also more casual or even some newer players! That could be a benefit to you.

I also noticed that you named the DreamTeam after yourself. While there's nothing wrong with that, remember that you are asking strangers to join. They don't know you, so they may feel less comfortable being named after a stranger.

I am active daily (well every night for me!) there is another person in the dream team :) you can play however you want (active or somewhat active) i can make a discord server for our DDV journey. there is no requirements you don't have to be at a certain point (other then having multiplayer unlocked) and if you need a hand getting to a point in game i am happy to help :).
i have all DLCs but i don't plain to play with them until my base game is 100% done (all character unlocked and all missions done)

From what I can tell, you need to visit the team leaders valley via a valley visit code, and then your able to accept invitation to their DreamTeam. Cross-platform play is hard-set to be on by default, with no way of turning it off. Found this out while recruiting my first addition to my DreamTeam. Hope this helps.
