Yup I already did the event last year and had hoped it wouldn’t remove decor so did a fishing one today just to find out it did. I only wanted to know if anyone knows if I don’t fish out the treasure event books if the blockers still spawn

Nope, they only spawn when you get the book, since the book tells you where to go. I had no stones in my meadow until my book sent me there and then I had a bunch, which disappeared again after I broke the one that had the chest.

I’m not sure where you got the sense I was not participating in protest. This is just a game after all. I was asking about a very specific thing which was if anyone knew if the blockers still spawn regardless of needing to be activated. I’m more than okay missing out a few prizes though 🤷🏾‍♀️

It's guaranteed every day. It will appear in the Meadow, Beach, Glade, or Forest.
It can also appear under houses -- if you really can't find it, try moving all your water houses to a different place, and then maybe try reloading the game to see if it shows up

hmmm I'm struggling y'all with the TH Event. i've looked around my valley but i haven't found a gold spot at all today. I already got the fishing one but not the digging one; and according to the wiki and other in-game info, is you get one of each so i'm just lost on why I can't find the gold spot .

nvm i'm an idiot. I thought it only spawned in one of the 4 areas it mentioned (Glade, Forest, Beach, and Meadow) found it in the Frosted Heights behind Vanellope's home .

You're not level 12, the image that shows on the leaderboard at the top is an example. You will need to chat more untill your name turns pink and you'll reach level 1 and be able to post images

hi! I have a small technical question
I know that they added cross save with all platforms and I was thinking about getting the game on my switch 2 for when I’m not home, however I’m also aware that the game has notorious issues with time traveling even when the game itself doesn’t get opened during the process. I tend to time travel a lot due to pokemon shiny hunting mainly, and by reading the various threads it seems that the only way to circumvent the problem is by uninstalling the game, doing the time traveling shenanigans and then reinstalling but it seems… unnecessarily tedious? Has there been any progress on that front for the Switch 2 version or is it still the same?

If you read over that guide, you will see that you can TT on a switch and not affect DLV, but only if you do exactly what it says. 🙂

Yea it does seem a little unfair cuz I dont get what time traveling will to do the game except helping crops or quests go a little faster or scrooge shop

Meaning you don't understand the benefit in DLV or you don't understand why it would break DLV?

The game runs off real time. If you go forwards in time, then you've already done the things you're trying to do when you set to real time. Those herbs are already picked, the crops are harvested, the store is bought, etc.

But a lot of people travel for other games - ACNH, Pokemon, etc. However, since DLV runs on real time, if your system time changes, it knows because it doesn't match what the server says your time should be.

There is no benefit in DLV. Especially not when it can permanently break your game and make you start from scratch.

Oh well the way I was seeing it you could go harvest mushrooms or whatever or go to the store just time travel to the next day that way the task were you have to pick 900 would be done in like a minute which I would see as a benefit
