Extremely rude. Because yeah, she is so late that you should have Remy, but they really should have coded in protection. That would require them to think that far ahead, though, and account for things like this. Even more especially since they changed how the Dreamlight amounts work for the realms - it really does mean that people can unlock the characters in literally any order

Totally, but even still, Remy is usually the first one people choose to unlock because of the restaurant, so this is one oversight I can kind of understand. Not to mention you have to have him for SO many quests before you get Cinderella, usually. My best guess honestly is this is mainly happening to people who are trying to speed run the main story without doing much else, it's the only way I can see not having Remy before Cinderella.

Even speedrunning the main story you get stuck right after that point if you haven't opened any realms, you have to open Moana, Frozen and Remy's to complete the "Forgotten Relics" quests, technically you could get the butter for Elsa's pie without opening Remy's realm though.

How do the realms now work, actually? I don't quite understand the wiki and patch notes here, really. I've always unlocked the realms in my preferred order (or I don't understand what the patch notes mean, which is more likely). The wiki is only confusing me with door 1-15 and the costs 😂

So the way it originally worked, every realm had a specific price. Inside Out was 15000, Lion King was, (for instance, I don't know exactly), 6000.
Now, the prices aren't set to a specific Realm, they're set to the order you do them in. So you can unlock them in any order you want. The 4th door you unlock is 4000 Dreamlight, no matter if that door is Frozen, or Lion King, or Inside Out. The ninth door is always 9000, no matter what it is. So on. (Up to 15, after 15th they all cost 15000)

So before, the realms had set costs, that increased as the realms were added, making the later realms more expensive. The change changes the system from fixed prices to a scale based on how many you have unlocked.

It's so that new players can unlock in whatever order they want, without having to save a bunch of Dreamlight just to open one realm because it was added later. If that makes sense.

I feel like I haven't noticed that. Not gonna lie, when I've unlocked Inside Out some days ago (which was my last door to open), it was not 15000 dreamlight as the Wiki suggests, for example. Not sure how much it actually was because I haven't paid attention (when you have the dreamlight, you don't care anymore 🤣 ) but I could swear it was maybe max. 12,5K. Or less, I think.

So I just wonder as to why it was my last door, but wasn't as expensive.

And does this change mean that any door we get from now on (for all the players who already have all past doors) will be expensive?

Might depend on which one you are on, but only completable ones pop up so nothing will pop up that makes you stuck with the event needing to be active.

Nope, cause with a mining potion it causes you to get more gems rather than stone. The way I do it is starting in one biome and make a full round in the valley. For example, I start in the frosted heights, mine all nodes, go to the forest, mine all nodes, etc. till I finish in the forgotten lands. And of course the rocks that spawn on dazzle beach for example.

Gathering and collecting is just part of the game and is time consuming. Same as with stardew, really. 🙂

Its random. Having more flowers in the biome does not guarantee more dried flower instances or the max of 5.

i usually go behind him and try and force him to move, which doesnt work that great but then i'll run around to the far other side of the end stool and he sometimes moves out a bit and then you can slowly move closer to him between the two stools and reach him. it happens to me every time he's in his house and it's always a pain.

Ok I thought I could work this out but I'm still lost. Even working out the time differences between here and America, there is no time zone that aligns with reset being 1am Sydney time. Do any of you guys know why our reset is 1am Thursdays?
Even with daylight saving (in Sydney) at most conversion should be midnight with 1pm UTC
The only thing that works is if they aren't actually resetting at 1pm UTC but 2pm but everywhere says they reset at 1pm.
It's just annoying me because I can't figure it out.

The premium shop does not reset according to UTC time. It resets according to ET, which is the timezone for Montreal where GL is located. Montreal observes DST. Half the year the reset is 1pm UTC, half the year the reset is at 2pm UTC

I actually had given up after it didn't work on one squirrel, so I went back and fed the other squirrel peanuts and it worked.
I've been feeding the squirrels apples for literally years... 🫣

Apples are their liked, but the path specifically asks for the favorites. It can be hard sometimes because we just know we feed them things and they give us a heart and items (sometimes!) so it's fine. But then the path...

Guys I have a problem that I want to wait for a "yes you can" before I do anything.

Yesterday, when I wanted to go to bed and stop playing, our internet went down. Couldn't save to the cloud, which is okay, because I did save manually (as in locally). Tho when I quit the game, steam said it couldn't grab my User ID and therefore couldn't synchronise. Since it was late and I thought the game is going to be saved locally anyways, I went with it because I couldn't do anything with the internet for it to work (network problem or so, idk, gist is; not in my hands to solve)

Now that I wanted to play, starting the game steam gives me a notification about "synchronising not possible. Attention: Steam couldn't synchronise your save game with the steam cloud. If you decide to play, you may not have access to your past game progress and could lose it permanently." The option it gives me is to either 'cancel' or 'play anyways'. (Can't give you guys a screenshot because it's in German 😂 )

Is it safe to play, since I am connected to the internet now, or how would I go on with this? Reeeeally don't wanna lose the game fully. If it's just the stuff I did yesterday after the internet went down (maybe 15 min of playing), that's fine.

I believe the quest tells you where to look for the memory based on the prior memory in the chain.

Fast travel to another map and back, that can get the spot to respawn. Some folks had success putting water decorations in it while others didnt. Just gotta keep trying things until it works basically.

Either the recipe is unlocked by cooking the meal manually (you can look up the individual ingredients in the wiki or google) or by gameplay. Sesame balls for example are a recipe you get from Mushus lvl 10 quest (or 7? Not sure rn), but you can also just cook it and unlock it that way.

There's the issue - those two conflict with each other, causing this bug. We have seen it quite a few times. Unfortunately, there is nothing to be done except wait for the devs to fix it. We almost never get hotfixes, so you are likely waiting until the next update for them to (hopefully) fix it.

It's not instant, no - on normal crops it is, but for this one it gave it a "burst" to get it going because it was dead (according to the quest). You need to be watering it every 8ish hours, even though it might not look dry. It will take 48-72 hours, depending on watering. Do not use another miracle potion on it, just in case you were thinking of it or someone tells you to.

If you only have 15, you missed one. Nothing you can do about the watering issue, have to wait for the fix to be implemented

To preface, I have a terrible habit of doing things before it comes up in a quest - in Alice’s world (teeny tiny problems quest) I need to water the singing flowers however dumb me watered them and picked them up when I first walked passed them (I thought they were so cute 😭)

This quest, along with some others, are having issues because companions are picking things up. It might be wise while questing to turn collection off, and to dismiss companions all together while in realms.

You can give support a try, and specifically request the items to be sent after explaining what happened. I'm not at all certain it will work but ..

You're fine, friend. There's nothing wrong with your snap, and as Dag said, there's no copyright or anything. The danger in posting your snaps ahead of time where people can see them is exactly this, that people will straight up copy your designs. There is nothing against doing that - the only way to prevent it is to not share your snap anywhere until after the submission closes.

They do not have a set day, it's random for all of us. You just have to check your collections every day, or go to #multiplayer-chat and either ask if someone has any or if it's available for anyone and can you come time end in their valley for them.

I found a flower spawned inside of a greenhouse, which is not a building that I can access the inside of. Again, there shouldn’t be gaps that allow things to spawn under these buildings (and also the tree clusters because I’ve found wishblossoms inside tree clusters already too).

Check your collection menu, the docks, courtyard, overlook or ruins, they are a rare spawn so shovel potion really helps along with digging helpers.

You need to check with Steam, they generally will refund a game if you have not played it very long, you could also try reinstalling the game and make sure that your PC meets the requirements to run it.

Is it a common issue though? From Reddit, Facebook and here I've seen these game crashes have been going on since last year at least. My PC can run Hogwarts legacy and Assasins Creed Origins so I don't see my PC not being able to run it.

It's not a common issue on a decent PC. Have you tried verifying / repairing the game files through Steam?

The most common issue for the game failing to load is a lack of storage space, DDV requires 20G+ to install and likes about that much free space on the same drive in order to run well, it also wants the latest video card drivers and Windows 11 with all updates.

Have you picked up all the quest items you may have placed, they can trigger it. For SBV the bell placed in the library often gets forgotten (me included) and for WBR the Pulley thing we made to get Cruellas car out also counts

Make sure you check ceiling texture - one of the first things listed in the list I gave you - as it is the most common, especially if this has been persisting. They only added those a few months back, and everyone forgets about them. Otherwise, check literally everything in that list. The hardest is finding the quest items in Main Valley because there's just so many

Gift giving helps level them up, but having them follow you while you do tasks that gain exp also helps. Once you give her three gifts and talk to her, then you can have her follow you around. But you need to do tasks that gain exp (farm/dig/mine ext)

This is not a three year old bug. It was a bugged initially, it's been fixed until this last update when the sparkles were able to be picked up by people's companions due to bad coding. Nothing to be done except wait for a patch, unless you have a manual backup from before.

It seems that "some point" is being teased, and their use is coming. Yes, the post is poorly written, because it also makes it seem like we are going to have to dig up said mementos. Hello everyone! I seem to have an issue with my cocoa beans not being recognised by the cooking equipment - I've got enough to make the recipe but the cocoa beans icon will not populate with the cocoa beans from my inventory.
I was able to do this no issues around an hour ago but now after logging back in and out I can no longer get the cocoa beans to get into the recipe.
Is this something I'm doing/ not doing or is this a known issue.

I made it three times in the valley then went to get more ingredients from around the valley and goofys and remys, went back to the stove and then I get a red for the cocoa beans and even if I add them manually they slot into a free ingredient slot instead of cocoa bean one

When you don't own the DLCs on a secondary platform, you still have access to any items stored in the valley, the DLCs characters and their houses in the houses menu. But you cannot GO to the DLC areas

Try fully exiting your game, then relaunch and check, if it's still not there, put the potato and crystal in a fridge in Wall-E's realm, relaunch and retrieve them and look.

Squirrels and other Gathering companions will collect the cocoa, and sometimes double them (assuming they're high enough level) if you just stand there, so you can AFK for a while to get them

If they're all missing, sounds like you knew they were important and put them together somewhere safe, so that's good, you'll probably find them all together, when you remember where that safe place was...

• Check in your inventory for any chests or storage furniture that has an icon on it, that means they're full -- maybe you picked up the chest
• Check all the storage in Realms (Wall-e, Beauty & the Beast, Monsters Inc for sure)
• Check the chests in Mickey's secret room in the castle

If you have things in a chest, then pick that chest up and sell it to Scrooge, apparently even then the chest retains it's contents and can be bought, placed, and it'll have the contents. I think in this case though you'd likely be sent those items to your mailbox. Post i saw mentioned was talking about how there's no way to get rid of night shards

It depends on the specific issue, if it is something such as critter piked up something they weren’t supposed to and now can’t progress with a quest, the resolved is they forward it to the dev team for a fix, support does not rix individual games, they can check moonstones recover an older cloud save, and disconnect platforms from a gameloft account or send a missing/lost qust item that’s about the extent of what they fix themselves

But if it was say you filled out the form then they would email you the answer to the inquiry to the email you had, if you did the chat box you’d have to scan your QR code in game to get back to it to see don’t know if the email as well when the chat finishes

If it was just a couple of hours, it should be fixed by tomorrow. But altering time in rare cases can cause permanent damage. You have to uninstall DDV before changing time.

You can get the memory orbs from feeding all critters, not just the island critter. It was the same for the last event.

You don't use custom designs, you decorate the large square wooden platform up the stairs with regular items, putting clothes on a regular mannequin up there

Hi I recently moved from switch to ps5 and I want to make an alt account on my switch for my husband using switch account will doing that delete my main account since I used cross save to move to the ps5?

I dont think we really have an official answer on this since its not working as intended to begin with. I would assume any critter could provide it, but you're also free to test it out and let us know

You need to create your husband his own Nintendo profile on the switch and create a Nintendo account for him to go with it.

As long as you do that, your game data will be fine.
