Okay a trick I know that helps sometimes, untrack save quit reload track the quest that sometimes helps it to update it, it may also be you’re game doesn’t register it’s really raining while it’s visually is as that has happened sometimes

If you don’t own the game on steam buying the expansion on steam Does nothing. Whatever launcher you use on pc to play is where you need to buy your expansions for them apply to your game, however if you buy an expansion on steam and play on steam and don’t own it on Xbox not issue there, just you cannot visit the expansion island on the Xbox until you own it there

really? i was under the impression rain was based on your IRL weather, at least when i joined the game thats what i was told. so far i havent had rain in my game in so long it made me quit the game, but i wanted to come back and its still not giving me rain. but if its truly random, i worry i will have to start over on a new save and loose what i have on my current save if its something wrong with my current save. i could just be dramatic in that case, but yea not having rain in game for a quest i need is getting on my nerves

Do you need to catch the Glittering Herring for Elsa's "What Home Feels Like" quest? Try putting the Dandelion Syrup in one of the fridges in Wall-E's realm in the castle, untrack the quest, save and fully exit the game, after relaunching the game walk to the castle, retrieve the syrup and retrack the quest, exit the castle and go to the Glade, look for a red/gold fishing spot near Gothel's tree, it can appear before it starts raining but it should rain within a short time of leaving the castle.

i do have it, i just have one more thing to do in it, but i didnt know it must be completed before it rains- i swear i have had it rain before and have used an umbrella for cosmetic fun when it rains but that was back when the game released so i could be remembering wrong. honestly i wish i knew this before if this is why i cant get it to rain!! Yes. Yes it does. And sometimes a game recovers but a lot of times it doesn't. Also, events are not affected like they are in ACNH. You cannot go backwards and get more time or forwards to skip to events - events are turned on and off on server side.

Unfortunately, there is no fix. It seems the well portion of the event may have ended earlier than it was supposed to.

Yeah, I accidentally got messed up with time traveling with ACNH on my switch when I first bought DDLV and it took a few weeks to even out and luckily, I did not have to restart.

I also kinda figured that tt'ing likely wouldn't solve this particular problem. I just wish a mod was actively available to respond as this is really frustrating. I haven't ever missed an event before and had timed this between work and my baby's sleep schedule.

I bought it so I could complete it before the new DLC, but the quest is glitched at the moving the knight behind the shield to protect the dragon. It doesn't matter. Events are done based on server time and/or what time they are set to start/end for you. Such as this one starting at midnight local time.

No uninstalling a game local doesn’t mess with your cloud save at all the only thing a local save instance can mess with is starting a new game as it can overwrite the cloud to be a new save

For some clarity, support closed the ticket without fixing the quest because support = customer service. They dont work on the game and dont have the power to correct issues in individual games (or even all games). All gameplay issues are forwarded to the devs so they can work to fix them in the next patch.

Hello! I’m sure this has been asked numerous times and I apologize if it has been, but Im trying to transfer my PS5 save data to the cloud so I can use it on switch. However, I come across a screen and I’m told if I continue logging into the account, the local data will get overwritten.

Naturally I want to use my local save data since it’s the most recent version, but is there a way to force the local save to override the cloud data?

It sounds like you are trying to use a Gameloft cloud save account that was created on the Switch so it assumes that you want to transfer that game onto the PS, since you can't merge games one of them is erased forever, you can either create a new Gameloft cloud save account on the PS using another email and login to it from a new player profile on the Switch which will keep both games, or ask support to remove the game from your existing Switch player profile which should allow you to login to the existing account from the PS and save to cloud then open the same game on Switch.

I'd just setup a new Gameloft account from the PS then, make sure you save to cloud from the "Help" menu before exiting the game and when you first open the game on Switch select "Cloud Save" on the title screen and login, it will find your game and off you go.

Does anyone have any tips for a cloud save error? I’m on switch right now and my save is out of sync by 21 hours. When I try to upload my cloud save, I just get a “failed to upload” error. I also play on PC so can’t rely on just a local save. I’ve tried two different wifi networks with the same issue.

It can help to make sure you have given the switch priority status in the router settings, make sure nothing else is using bandwidth while you are trying to upload your data (streaming to tv, watching videos, etc) - can shut down the switch full power off for 3 minutes and also unplug modem and router for 3 minutes then boot everything back up and try again. Can also try changing your wifi channel to one with less interference. Apart from that you just have to keep clicking save to cloud until it works

Open furniture mode in your house and check there, if there's not a red dot there (like for new ceiling textures) then that means it's a unique item you have placed in the world that you put down during the completion of a quest.

Check also outside of the treehouse around the forgotten lands just in case. Apart from that, check all of your storage containers. It's usually the jade skulls that people miss though. Do you remember answering their riddle to get the note from them? If you did it you should remember the answer.

If you don't find it in forgotten lands or in the dig spots, then your best bet is if you made a backup save before the quest recover that and start the quest over. If you don't have a backup save, you'll likely have to start the game over from the beginning if support can't send you a note. It's best to maintain a backup save and to only start quests when you can finish them, especially when they have items involved.

Then if support can't send you a note you may never be able to go any further in the game unfortunately if you don't have a backup save. With a backup save you don't have to start over, so it's strongly recommended that one is maintained. #1295498853642010705 has guides on making them.

OK, so I have been stuck on Moana‘s level 10 quest for about a week now and I started the quest. She gave me the thing that I need to put the Litter shards in and then I picked up the leader shards but then I dropped everything except for those cause I can’t drop those items to go to a treasure Valley and when I came back, they weren’t not in any of my chest I had and they were not in my backpack inventory and I’ve now since picked up all of the test I’ve had and I’ve un cracked them and I’m still not finding the leader shards. I’m stuck between starting over and just losing my mind. I am getting also very frustrated. I’ve contacted Gameloft and they said to try to un track and retract the quest and I did that a few times didn’t work that’s when I decided to just pick up all my chest and then craft them and nothing’s popping up for me anymore like I can’t find these items at all since I did that any suggestions?

Because you started the game in the Philippines, your game clock will always be on that timezone regardless if you changed your device time unfortunately. The only way to synchronise the game clock to your irl time is to restart your entire save. It's frustrating and silly but they have not released a statement or any kind of acknowledgement that they are going to fix it or change it. You can still contact support but they will either tell you the same I have or just apologise and that they'll pass it along to the dev team.

The time change happens at 2am in each time zone, in Fall we go back to 1am, in Spring we go go forward to 3am.

For the star path dig for clay. It only counts each instance you dig and clay is generated as the dig reward not how much clay is dug the glade of trust is the best place to dig it

erm, i think some currency carries over, but it didn't all carry over for me personally. I've got the game on ps5 and switch, so got some of the currency for founders pack as well, and some for each DLC

Kinda, the moonstones attached to the purchase Of the game are platform locked as well as any bought normally as well, so they will remain on the platform, any moonstones you earned from the daily chest dream snaps and such can transfer between platforms.

Fairly Fancy is 4 star items , and then digging clay is each instance your shovel digs clay, not how much clay you dig and it doesn’t count bones

Seafood platter is an appetizer. "Dinner" in context of the game refers to a main course. You need to make covered dish meals.

The amount of clay you uncover doesnt matter. Its the amount of dig spots specifically that gave you clay.

Make sure you open furniture inventory inside your house and check for the dot there. Otherwise it's an item you placed during the completion of a quest and you have to find it and pick it up, a support ticket won't help, the only fix is picking up the item.

everyone gets the exact same duties you still have a few weeks of the star path, so you just have to do what you can until you unlock them to do those tasks

You get rich soil by harvesting crops you have planted, a plot of 50 wheat will usually get a fair number in 5-6 crops, only takes a minute to grow, you can get the multiplayer portal by getting Vanelope but you have to open Scrooge's store to get her quest, that lets you visit other players and trade items.

The only way other than waiting for it to grow, is to remember what you planted, all sprouts have the same texture until they grow.

I was able to finally finish the digging for pottery material quest, took forever since it did not count how many you got but only 1 dig at a time, I so loathe those types of quest's, but anyway I also noticed when I was working on the cook fairly fancy dinner , the Item's for the (Mushroom Pizza) was counting as the Veggie Pasta!!, I do not know how that happened since the Pasta has 3 items & the pizza has 4, makes no sense to me, So I ended up having to make another pasta dish, cause the mushroom Pizza items don't seem to count as the pizza itself. but at least I finished that quest as well, (Mushroom Pizza Item's> Mushroom, Wheat, Tomato, Cheese), (Veggie Pasta item's > Tomato, Wheat, Veggie). Now I have no clue why that pasta showed up as my dish after I added the 4 items for mushroom pizza, but it did 2 times, so I gave up on making pizza. 🙁

Travel across time zones inquiry. I’ll be traveling this year going across a time zone change. Do I need to do anything special to ensure the game does not think I did anything wrong? It will only be an hour difference but I have played daily since early access started and I do not want to chance messing up my game. Edit to say this is on a switch 2.

Turn off sync to internet time, and you’ll be okay then, as long as the time doesn’t change on the system you’ll be good, with that setting turned off you may not be able to access the store during that time when that setting is turned off, but that will at least minimize any possible risk

It's fine to play while travelling, you should not experience any issues now, you don't have to turn off sync time to internet, but can as an extra precaution. It's best to make a backup save before you leave just in case, of course. #1295498853642010705 will walk you through how to do that.

If it makes you feel any better, our resident tester Dipper has actually manually changed the timezones on multiple test games recently with zero lasting repercussions to the saves. And you won't even be manually changing your timezone! I take protecting saves extremely seriously, and I promise I wouldn't at all suggest it is okay for you to play while travelling if I considered it a risk. anyone else unable to collect their first duty? this has been happening for a few days now, it doesnt affect the rest of them(yet) but i havent been able to collect the initial one

Did you ever find it? I am in the same boat. I even reduced the resolution to a minimum to make them easier to see. I am missing one either in the Moana realm or the Frozen realm, narrowed down to a spot in each. I do a search of ALL the spots every couple of months and then give up again because it's just not there. I really wish there were SOME guidance on the hidden quests once you start them.
