@shrewd gust re: #1308750827996839980 message Make sure you check everywhere, including the trial entrances. Flowers and other things often spawn there. Also, use a vacuum to make sure you didn't miss any spots.

Yup, perfectly normal. It can take upwards of a week or more for them to actually respond. You can check the status of your ticket at any time via #ticket-support . If it's been a week and you check it, it will automatically escalate for you

I've never noticed before by my clock in dreamlight valley appears to be one hour ahead. The clock in the bind and the one in the frozen castle are other one hour ahead of my real time. Is it because my game was first set up before the clocks went back? I've not changed timezones or anything.

No the game is designed to update with daylight savings if all the creatures and everything else works normally in their correct time frame, it may be a visual bug where those clocks didn’t update with the time change

How could it have happened? Like I said I never changed timezones or anything!

I'm also pretty sure I've logged in before to get some critters just before they leave, so I don't think my game has been running ahead this whole time.

That is very strange then as generally to should stick to its proper designated starting timezone. As I know when game was first out the daylight savings time change did mess up critters for a bit, possible the same bug may have happened with this expansion where they missed a line of code, or their servers may not have updated a timezone right. I’d have to say wait to see if others possible notice a similar issue

Apologies if you have had your answer or figured it out yourself, but I did this one a day or two ago and after talking to Merida also thought the same as you that it hadn't triggered her action to clear the path, unlike the other two. Thought the pile of bricks behind her should of gone to give me access to the lever, but they hadn't. Have you checked the passageway to the left of Merida, go down there a short distance and there's a passage to the right that leads to the lever. It wasn't obvious to me initially, as I couldn't see it when chatting to Merida, unlike the with other two

I play on Steamdeck and on Switch. Loading an older save file on Switch by having it on Airplane mode had the right time, when rebooted with wifi and synced to Cloud it was one hour ahead again. Now that the Switch has been synced to cloud it's one hour ahead even if I launch it offline. So maybe something in the latest update? It's not the end of the world but it is weird 😂

I need help. I am really stuck in Jack Skellinton's "Dreamlight Day" quest. I can't find the cursed book that is supposed to be near Olaf's house. Thing is i placed the castle on the frosted floating island. I removed all decorations, nothing. I looked and removed all decorations all other places the castle has been, and I have looked through all biomes and floating islands, even tried taking pictures anywhere to see if it picks it up. Nothing. I sent a ticket a week ago, but have yet to get a response.. but i need this to progress and it is extremly frustrating..

Search every biome very very carefully. One user found theirs in the forest, another on the beach, another in the meadow. It seems if you have the house on an island, the book just spawns somewhere

Make sure you're looking at the tags individually. You dont need 1 item to fit every tag. You can place as many items as you need to get every checkmark.

Okay, look around your valley. You should have placed a visitor portal for valley visits. If you have not, you'll need to complete that quest for Vanellope before you get the You Have Mail from Mickey

That is against server rules. I just wanted you to open the portal so that it would hopefully proc the quest from Mickey. Close your portal, give it about 15 minutes, see if Mickey has a quest for you. You may need to just go see him.

I'm actually not certain they are. They have their own furniture counts, thorns and chests don't spawn up there, so they aren't considered part of the main valley. I think that's why everything isn't working when people do them up there - it's in the wrong space.

Sometimes posts get bonked for certain words, but it will usually tell you. Or discord is being silly and won't send a message. Festive Fish show up tomorrow, they will be in red/green circles in certain biomes. Do be careful, because you can only catch them once and they CAN be cooked, so if you want to keep them you'll want to put them on a table or the floor or something.

Put the items in a chest in a realm or Mickey's secret room. Untrack the quest. Shut the game down completely - not sleep or suspend. Relaunch, retrack, reclaim the items.

Should be okay. You might want to put down the pathing so you can see better. If you have a vacuum from eternity isle, you can use that to pick up everything for the moment, then put the white ones back down somewhere away from those trees so that the dark wood will spawn there. You have NO other trees down, right?

Okay, so if you have Rift, you can make the Ancient Vacuums. This tells you about them, and you can use them to help you pick up whatever is currently in the Forgotten Lands to help your tree farm work better.

Yes. They are the ones highlighted (plus one on the end of the top row in photo 3). I’m still working on Eric’s quests to unlock getting blueprints but these were inventoried and showing as craftable, but not showing up at the table.

Ahh yep all 3 of those are eric blueprints. You have to buy the blueprint to unlock the crafting recipe.

Open furniture mode inside a room and look to the bottom left for the "reset" button. You can reset all rooms without resizing now.

You should have gotten a mail explaining the prerequisites. In case you cant find it:

Forgotten lands pillar fully restored with orb
Jack unlocked with house in valley
Vanellope unlocked with house placed.
Mirabel "healing houses" quest completed and friendship unlocked.

If outdoors, use your shovel (or vacuum if you have rift). If indoors, reset the room (will remove all decor)

Brown raven (6pm-midnight tues)
Blue raccoon (4pm-10pm weds)
Calico rabbit (8am-2pm thurs)

You would either need to create a new player profile on Switch or put in a ticket to have support clear any games from your original profile, you can't link the PC game to a profile that already has a game linked to it, you will not be able to visit the DLC locations on platforms that haven't purchased them but everything else transfers fine.

I haven't seen this bug before, so I can only resort to standard options for fixes.

So that would be untracking the quest, rebooting the game and nd retracking the quest and see it it reappears or that jack gives it again.

Before that you could also just interact with the cauldron and see if it lets you add the potion from your inventory even though you don't see the potion

If neither work, shutting down your device, undock if applicable, wait 5 minutes then start everything back up again, will sometimes fix weird issues too

I'm doing the "Now and then" quest now, but cant find the last item one the black and white island. I've found the key and opend the chest, and fish the spot out in the water, but the only other thing I can do is fish det spot in the sand/water, but i cant see the circel so I miss all the time. There are 4 items total. The key to open the chest isnt considered an item.

If you mean you found the hot dog cart, the lantern and the ship, untrack the quest, save game, exit game fully, relaunch, go back to the island, retrack the quest and try again

Gameloft actually helped me solve the problem. By uninstalling the ps5 version and installing the ps4 version of the game I then was able to buy the DLC from within the main menu!

The only one with her face in the quest log should be the singing ice. But it doesn’t tell me the name of the quest yet just that one is available and to go talk to Elsa.

OK, I'm not sure which ones you have and haven't done, but there may still be an unfinished or still-locked quest (for someone else) that involves talking to her. If so, and you're tracking the quest while doing it, she'll probably appear. You may have noticed that characters that you're supposed to go to for quests often happen to be nearby.

As a last ditch effort, if you have any of the interactable photo items (bonfire, haunted gazebo, coco stage, the new one in the shop today) you can spam that item over and over until it hails her.

Ive tried everything ive seen posted for “breaking the ice” quest bugs but none of it helped cause i already completed that quest and broke the ice.

Does reloading not work? Thats generally the fix for any small glitch. If its happening over and over, depending on what platform/launcher you use, there may be further steps necessary to clear temp memory.

I don't think there's a way to help because the mission says to go to Skull Island and dig up Nala's statue. However, when I did that, my game crashed, and after reopening it, there was nothing buried and nothing in my inventory. The statue simply disappeared 😭

Resetting IS an option. Do you have a manual back-up save? If you do, and your save is from prior to starting the quest, you can reinstate that back-up and try again.

Generally, if you don't remember specifically making a back up, its unlikely that you have one. #1295498853642010705 covers the steps.

If your quest says to plant and water them you should have the seeds. Make sure you double check ALL of your storage - chests, aquariums, wardrobes, dressers, refrigerators, potions cabinets, realm storage (including wall-e, beauty and the beast, mulan, and monsters inc), mickeys secret room, etc. even if you say "id never put it there"

@tropic zenith For the majority of people who say something isn't spawning in the biome it should be spawning in, it turns out that the item in question IS there in a spot they missed. In my case, my house is still in its original location from the start of the game, and the chest spawned behind it, so I could've easily missed it if I wasn't used to thoroughly searching.

Totally up to you, but since there are traps you can set out to "catch" snippets automatically a few at a time, I'd suggest more timebenders than snippet catchers.

Wood only comes from trees that don't already produce harvestables.

You can, however, move all your fruit trees and bushes to one area (such as near your house) so you can harvest them all at once. This helps level up villagers even if they aren't assigned to foraging.

Hardly. Before this, characters would actually be asleep and completely unavailable for a while, which caused many people to complain that certain characters were always unavailable when they played. This way everyone can access any character whenever they want. The times that the characters used to be asleep are now the times they're just in their houses.

Thats not what she or i am referring to. In the hotfix, gameloft decided to limit the amount of NPCs that can spawn for "optimization" reasons "to reduce lagging/crashes on some consoles". There has been a very noticeable difference in the amount of NPCs that spawn since the hotfix.

It's not the sleep - it's that too many characters loading in was causing some severe lag. So now they're in homes to avoid the lag, but I agree with Effie that it seems like an overcorrection, because it does feel a little....empty.

Correct. You have access to the expass land only on platforms where you own the expass. You have access to everything else (materials and ingredients in chests, the recipes, timebending and the tool, etc.) without buying the expass on your secondary platform.

Just a visual bug. But on a side note, if you see something similar while timebending in a realm, it's a Glimmer that showed up like that instead of normally. You can still collect it, you just have to press the "pick up" button instead of picking it up automatically.

Isn’t the whole point of the villager choice menu to be able to toggle on and off villagers who are shown in the valley? @bronze zephyr I've found early game the most commonly used items are wheat and sugar so I'd keep two stacks of those...also it's worth making fruit cake early game as it only takes one wheat and 3 fruit of any kind and gives you a nice boost to your energy when you eat it
