if its not showing up then i think its just not taking up much resources, so you really do just have to wait for the game to fully launch. pop on a youtube video and let it load. i remember playing ddv on xbox pc on my old computer and it took ages to load

Thank you! There are supposed to be golden bubbles at the overlook that you fish in to get the ancient slate that's needed for the Does Not Compute quest but I'm not finding any golden bubbles

It shows up here. The orange circle doesn't appear, it's already there. If there's no orange circle at the secret beach then you already got the slate and it's in storage somewhere

It's up to you what you do with your machine. I can only tell you things from my personal experience, and not as a Gameloft employee. But in my experience, McAfee is a nightmare for trying to launch a game and it's an antivirus I never ever ever recommend. To anyone. The other thing I would recommend is making sure you open the Xbox app first and launch the game from it, not a shortcut.

If they just got the PC today and installed their updates they should be up to date, but it never hurts to check. That's something that generally interferes after the game launches though, not before.

Yes, as long as you transfer your entire PS account over everything will be the same. However I have heard that PS4 trophies don't transfer to the PS5 version of the game.

Have been trying to read through all this and it looks to me like your new computer either does not have enough RAM or it does not have enough storage space or both, it needs a minimum of 6G RAM to run DDV, it also needs at least 5G free space on the drive after DDV is installed, I run DDV on Xbox app all the time, the biggest problem is needing updates from the Microsoft store almost daily because the Xbox app doesn't update itself properly, try these steps;

That can be normal on a new Windows computer, I've had them spend half a day on updates, make sure to reboot after every round of updates, then have it check for more, it's a pain but necessary.

It's also possible that Windows itself needs more updates, it can take numerous reboots before it fully updates, if the PC is using integrated graphics it's not likely to run DDV very well if at all, DDV runs on your PC unless you using cloud gaming, it is not a server based game, it takes a lot more horespower to run well than server based games do.

Are you still on the platform that owns the DLC? You generally can't do those quests on your other platforms if you play on more than one.

That's not cloud gaming, DDV uses a Gameloft cloud save account to transfer your game save data from one platform or device to another, I use it several times a day. You can do Xbox cloud gaming from your own console to PC using the Xbox app but I think it requires Game pass Ultimate.

has anyone ever had a problem with the cloud save working for multiple devices? I'm trying to link my account from my switch onto my laptop through Xbox unlimited, but it isn't working at all, and it messed up my original email I used for cloud save so I had to make a new one. It's weird because it worked before on the actual Xbox when I used it, but now it's not? Some things to note:

I share an Xbox with my gf, and I made an account on there which I then linked the cloud to. DDV worked perfectly and all was well: even got bonus 8k moonstones (no longer there rip)
I logged into my account (that I made on the shared Xbox) on my laptop, but the unlimited wasnt working, so we had to make a new account on my laptop so my gfs account would work. We downloaded DDV and I thought all would be well, but it didn't work. I looked it up and saw I had to unlink DDV from my Xbox account so I could link it to my GFs.
We unlinked DDV from my account and I've been attempting trying to link it to my GFs on my laptop, but it isn't working. I've made a new one, and tried multiple times resetting the password, logging out on my switch, reuploading my data to the cloud account on the switch, etc. but nothing has worked. I've restarted the game on both devices, including restarting the Xbox app and my laptop as well.
if anyone knows what to do please PLEASE help cuz I'm actually at a loss and don't know what to try :( I also posted on the subreddit for the game and in another server but I havent received any replies yet </3

You cannot time travel, period. It breaks the game. Unfortunately, for the critters during that time, there's nothing to be done unless you can feed them while on vacation or something. But it does take several days of feeding them for them to unlock.

Submit a ticket and explicitly ask them to send you the missing ones. Chances are high that they're stuck in a random world chest that you forgot you put stuff in, as the quest doesn't proceed without them, but support will not send you more unless you ask them to do so

Hang out with him, even if he’s not the buddy you need for the task you’re doing, he’ll gain friendship points no matter what.

Also if you have the patience, anything that you’re planning to sell just give to him as a gift, the friendship gain will be very small and it’s very slow so I don’t recommend this unless you are very patient.

!support Effie is correct, you need to do a ticket using the user ID from your game if you have it, asking them to unlink the other game from your Steam account so you can link back to your cloud save, you can setup family sharing on Steam and give your daughter her own player profile on there to avoid future problems.

Okay, here is my best advice with my knowledge and experience of dealing with Gameloft support. Instead of asking them to fix this (which they won't be able to do, I'm fairly certain) ask them if they have an older version of your save file on their server they can recover for you. If they don't, you are most likely going to have to start your game over from the beginning by resetting your profile. And next time around, make sure you use this guide #1047579586361311233 to have your own backup save so you can recover.

The only other option would be if support can't recover an older save file, explain to them again your issue and try to fight with them to fix it, but it will take a very long time.

The only thing we've found to remotely work is to fast travel between wells, or to the main valley and back, to get that monkey to spawn in a different spot. The issue is that it doesn't have enough space to run so it glitches into walls and trees.

Get the blue flowers by going into furniture mode and moving the flowers to the side that you can reach. You can also instead move the dreamwell to the locked side and pick the flowers up.

Getting a cloud save conflict when playing on a single platform means your network is dropping connection. Always choose to keep local save in order to keep playing the most up to date save, as cloud save will be out of date due to the drop.

You dont repeat the quest. You'll start getting daily quests from Remy for wrought iron.

You make only one item and place it down. Then you do dailies for more of the wrought iron so you can make more! But the wrought iron he gives you for that first quest is enough to make and place one of the items

What is it you need on the other side? If it's Vanilla, it grows on both sides. But as Chelly said, move your well across and fast travel to it so you can harvest. 🙂 As well, it's going to take a bit of time leveling Scar to get to where you can break the bones

I have had this same issue. I also was not receiving daily quests to get the iron, mine would pop up every 3 days if i was lucky but pretty much it was just 1x a week HORRIBLE. it took forever but i managed to get it done

Okay, so you used the wrought iron you were given in the quest, turned it into regular iron, and then crafted an iron fence instead of following the quest and making the item it told you to? Do I understand correctly?

This is not how it should work. If you accept a quest, you need to do and turn it in that day. The next day you get a new quest. If you do it the next day, it will be the third day before you get a new one, yes, as these are daily quests

they are different irons You cannot make wrought iron. It is quest specific. You can use the wrought iron to make regular iron, but you should not.

You can try and contact support and ask for the piece you used to be sent to you, but I'm not sure if they will. You can go to #spoiler-chat and ask if anyone has a piece they would be willing to give you so that you can complete the quest like you should have. That will allow you to move on to daily quests

I see. You made a wrought iron fence but it's now what you were supposed to do for the quest. The options still stand:

1. contact support, explain that you made a wrought iron fence instead of the items for the quest, ask if they can send you a piece in the mail so you can complete the quest.

2. head over to #spoiler-chat and ask if anyone has any spare they would be willing to give you so that you can craft the items you were supposed to and complete the quests

Just weighing in - you could also simply wait until tomorrow when you get a remy daily quest to get more wrought iron. You do not have to complete the introductory quest to get the dailies.

Buddies don't help. But the next time you see one, before you pick it up, screen cap it. The pick it up and screen cap your inventory. Share it to support, let them know that this is happening and as a result you cannot complete the star path.

Get everything else done that you can. Keep working on this one.

There is a quest to restore that stall you need to do first, either scrooge or goofy will give it to you. Progress with scrooge and he should send you to goofy to get him back in business. You need to do that quest before you can finish fishing expedition

10 thorns are supposed to spawn, but currently only 8 do. They only spawn if you log in that day, thorns don't spawn if you don't log in. As for splinters I honestly don't know, because I gave up on trying to figure out any of the EI spawns because of how totally inconsistent they were.

Hi @lucid dove re: #1255450523780517909 There are only 60 outfits that you can buy from the windows in Scrooge’s. Once you own them all, the windows will be empty. The collection menu still counts clothing items that are from the premium shop (a bug) and star paths. Everyone who has bought all the dresses and costumes from the windows also have empty store fronts.

You can upgrade the restaurant to increase space for customers. But that doesn't guarantee more costumers. So that's only interesting if all tables are full.

Each villager has their own schedule of when they go to remy's so how more villagers you have how more often there will be villagers in the restaurant. (Exploring realms can lead to more villagers)

Provided image shows the schedule for most villagers owhen they are at the restaurant. Some newer villagers (Mulan for example) are not yet included in this image.

Some members (like Mushu) actually never dine at the restaurant.
