yule log is 1 wheat, 1 cherry, 1 cocoa, and 1 vanilla. hot cocoa is 1 milk, 1 cocoa, and 1 sugarcane. gray stuff is 1 cocoa, 1 sugarcane, and 1 of any egg/milk. birthday cake is 1 cocoa, 1 wheat, 1 sugarcane, 1 egg, and 1 butter.

i received a “cloud save error” having me choose between local save or cloud save. They both look similar so i dont want to choose the wrong one. Can anyone help?

it's probably an issue with your internet connection

local save means it saves to the device you're currently using cloud save means it saves to a server that allows you to access it anywhere

if you aren't connected to the internet properly, it causes that error

I'm not sure how much progress you've made/when it last saved so I don't want to cause you to lose a bunch of stuff so please be cautious

It's not necessarily an error, just a conflict. When you play on more than one device you will get the pop up every single time you change devices. When playing on the same platform you played on previously you always choose local, when playing on a different platform than you played on previously you always choose cloud. Before switching platforms always manually save to the cloud so the save is up to date for the other platform to pull.

You should only choose local if the last time you played the game was on the device you have conflict on.

I think that achievement is bugged right now, and it's showing as finished when it really isn't. It's just a visual bug though and it's still counting your removed night thorns.

That's because it's bugged, as trinity told you. You cannot collect it. Keep removing thorns, though, as it's still counting them in the back end. And either you will reach the next tier and be able to collect or they'll get it fixed, whichever comes first.

Timeskipping doesnt necessarily cause the same behavior for everyone. But if you know for sure you time traveled for acnh on the same switch without uninstalling ddv first, thats the cause of the issue. It may fix itself once you reach the date in 2025. It also may not.

Eh ive had it do that to me. Any particular quest? I had trouble with the flower collecting mulan one and one of the remy quests recently.

Usually restarting helps fix whatever caused it.

Also, powering off the Switch by holding down the power button, then selecting power off and leaving it out of the dock for 5min before turning it back on can really help with that type of problem.

Both my Switches spend the majority of their time powered off completely, DDV should be fully exited and never be allowed to suspend or sleep, that seems to be the main cause of those type of problems.

And if you have the DLC, you can put villagers from the valley on Eternity Island and vice versa

No, but also yes. When you own the DLC on one platform but not the other, the other platform that doesn't own it can still access the hourglass, do Timebending in the valley, have the DLC characters, play scramblecoin, etc, but you can only physically go to the Isle if you own the DLC on the platform you are playing on.

It's intended, you have to buy it for each different platform. Me personally I play on Steam and Switch, but Steam is my main platform. I opted to only buy the DLC on Steam, so when I play on switch I timebend in the valley and work on other stuff etc and only go to the Isle itself on Steam.

Neither are unusually hard to find there, make sure you are getting all 6 mining nodes each round.

There are 3 on the first side, one is next to Scar's house, one in the wall in front of it and the other next to the entrance to the mine, you can move the well across the river and fast travel into the other side but gems mined will zing back to the open side where you will have to search around for them.

Can't give them a training manual until level 10 but gardening with any villager is generally the fastest way to level them up, I usually use a crop that grows in 15-30min with a single watering and just go from garden-to-garden harvesting and replanting, I generally have a 25-50 plant garden in each biome.

you have to approach them slowly. if you get close enough they'll eventually look around and then sit down for a second. you can only advance toward them while they're sitting, but stop moving when they start looking around again or else they'll run away. they like blueberries :>

So with the announcement that eventually playstation will have cross save later this year, my question is this. I also have a cross save between switch and steam, is there a way for me to delete the save and cloud save account on steam without messing up my switch cloud save? Just create a new player account on Steam, setup family sharing, I recommend using the "Family sharing beta" version of Steam - I've been using it since introduction and have 6 profiles sharing games on Steam.

Also, you can do sharing on Switch, Xbox and PS, all my profiles can play on Xbox console and Switch as well, once cross platform play is available on PS, you should be able to add your other valley as a new profile on PS.

It wont be. The chests no longer spawn on the isle as of the May 1 update. The chests dont have a standard spawn time - its random. So it can spawn while you're playing or after your daily play session.

You can convert dreamshards to dreamlight. Dreamshards are available (by chance) in dig spots, by clearing night thorns/splinters of fate, or by feeding critters.

For mist you can either timebend or clear splinters of fate or clear swirling sands. Timebending in realms is a good way to get 500 mist if its not glimmer. Additionally, buddy bonuses also help with mist as outlined in #1227306927172620308

Because I couldn’t link, my already made account that I had via my switch and PC to PlayStation, I created a new save. On my PlayStation I bought the ultimate pack bundle. The $80 one basically if I were to move my save that I had on the PC and switch onto my PlayStation when this cross play is enabled. Would I lose my ultimate content, moonstones, or any of the items I bought with moonstones. The game you have on PlayStation right now and the game you have on Switch/PC right now are two different accounts. PlayStation going cross play doesn't change that. You cannot combine two different accounts. You have to choose between your save on switch, and your save on PlayStation. They will not merge.

I dont think that item is indoor only so it could also be in the valley somewhere, or daisy's boutique if you have that unlocked.

They are saved to your account ID. So on PlayStation, where you own ultimate, if you reset your profile you keep all those items, because your game ID does not change, and that is what the items are attached to. However, on switch, you have a different game ID, because it's a different game, so you have different items attached to that ID. You cannot combine them.

Yes, switch and PC are the same ID because you were able to move your save there via Cross. But that wasn't an option on PlayStation, so now you have two different games. The game on Switch and PC, and the game on PlayStation. Two separate entities, with two separate IDs. We aren't sure exactly how they will make this work introducing it so late, but we DO know how things work currently, and based on how things work currently, you will have to choose between the two accounts. Either the PlayStation account with the ultimate items, or the switch account with the save you want. Or, continue to play both.

Use the vintage chests to move the items - they are linked, so put one outside and one inside where you want to move things. Empty the chests into there, then go unload it in the house. Because no...you cannot move full chests from out to in, in to out, or room to room

Log out of the steam client, not close it, but specifically log out. Then log back in, and launch the game and try again.

What must have happened is the design got deleted when you were editing it. The only way I can think of to get the design back at this point is if you have a friend to help. They can visit your boutique and save your design to theirs, then put it on their own boutique mannequin, then you visit their boutique and save the design from their boutique. Otherwise you will have to start the design over.

You need to check all your storage in case you put it away. Also, there's a chance you didn't see it fly out when you found it, meaning it's laying on the ground somewhere. It will be hard to see because it won't glow or sparkle, and it can be behind stuff, like where goofy's stall is with the crates. You need to either scour the entire area VERY carefully, or use a level 3 ancient vacuum which will find it for you. (If it's on the ground)

Anytime. For what its worth, making sure i power down my switch fully at least once a day and leaving it off for 5 minutes before powering back on has kept that third turn issue to a minimum. If you have an og or oled, make sure you're undocking while its powered off.

The quest ones are the gold loveseat with a rose pillow but are labeled "Old Furniture" in your furniture inventory, the only way I know of to find them is to choose the category "All" and scroll down until you find it just above the greyed out indoor furniture, being outside helps narrow it down.

It's still packet loss. Packet loss can occur for a variety of reasons, on multiple networks. That's why the cloud save is failing, it's losing too many packets before the upload is complete, resulting in failure to upload. If you only play on one platform it is not a big deal, because you only need cloud save if you play on more than one platform.

Learned the hard way that there is some sort of conditional trigger to despawn pixel shards after a visitor leaves.
I literally saw a pixel shard on the ground near the multiplayer tube, decided I'd pick it up after closing multiplayer, and after closing multiplayer it wasn't there anymore.

To add nuance, the visiting player had left and the shard was there. So, if others ask, maybe caution them to sweep their valley for shards before turning off the multiplayer function.
I'd try variants myself, but I still need a couple dozen more shards to craft at least one of everything.

A lot of folks are used to other games where time traveling isnt as detrimental to game-play. For what its worth, most planted crops in the game are harvestable within a few hours at most (though they may require additional waterings). Yes, the regular save game function saves the game locally. To play on multiple platforms you need to be logged into your Gameloft account, and from inside the game go to settings, and press the sync to cloud button.

They wont. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that if you send in a support ticket, gameloft customer care is going to tell you its not intended gameplay and you will need to restart. The devs arent going to fix what breaks during unintended gameplay.

Its a shiny diamond. Only possible in forgotten lands, and they are definitely rare. Best advice is to try using potions, have the well fed bonus (gold energy bar), and bring a buddy along.

This is unfortunately common on the switch. Powering down for 5 mins (and undocking the switch while you do, if yours is able to be docked) and powering back up usually helps things. Its recommended to do that as often as hourly/keep play sessions to an hour or less.

No prob! They tend to go back and forth each week between a decor challenge and a clothing challenge, though sometimes we'll get 2 weeks in a row of one. It can be so frustrating when you have lots of great furniture but it doesn't meet the tags!

It takes about one week to do a star path, they aren't very difficult. But also, certain items from star paths show up in the premium shop, so if you miss something you still have a chance to get it.

Best way is build a tree farm in each biome. Remove ALL other trees, place four trees spaced at least four spaces apart (we generally use the plaza trees cause they are small) and that's it.

They leave "open" spaces in the collections for things they will be adding, at least sometimes. The "non-disney/general" collection routinely has 15 empty slots. When it comes to furniture, the wallpaper/flooring is all messed up - it is fully tracking for new players but not older because of how they've handled it. So honestly, don't worry too much about trying to be a completionist. It's a mess
