Feel free to confirm it yourself, but I believe they can be moved as soon as you finish their respective repair my house quests. EVE’s can be moved as soon as you recruit her.

Not every bug affects every player, but from my personal experience I have no reason to warn players against moving the houses early. If we find a bug that gives me a reason then that changes things of course.

To add to what Emily said, I do a lot of decorating and they are great for crafting some of the paths that need a lot of gems, such as the new DLC paths (especially blue zircon ones) and the fancy gem path.

I was under the impression that hanging out with someone increased your chances of getting the timebender gift from their universe. I hung out with Moana a number of times and only got an oar once. I gave her the timebender roll and got no oars. I decided to try out Maui last night and got six oars. Is it only one character from each universe that increases your chances? I thought it was supposed to be all of them.

The latest date you would have changed your switch to when playing, as if you even have sync to internet time turned off and were off by a couple minutes when you last played that desync in time would been enough to cause some issues Eve.

The outfit for you is a quest reward you get later, if you had progressed enough the starting quest should be to change Ursula’s outfit by going to collection characters and then on Ursula should be a change style option

Her 2nd Dreamstyle quest is "A show like no other", she gives you the outfits and hairstyle at the start of it and you must put one of them on to proceed, you must leave her as Vanessa for the Dreamstyle quests to proceed.

In Ursula's first Dreamstyle quest you just take her around the village, your house, the restaurant, Scrooge's store, buy a piece of furniture and place some furniture outside - that's it, it won't proceed until you have placed her house and both the store and restaurant are open.

It may not appear in the collection. Some quest items don't.

If you have the furniture item itself, no need to worry. That's not the only blip in the collections, so please don't be concerned about it. If it doesn't have a collections entry, it may not even count against completion.

Furniture collections are often bugged. For example, the wiki says it’s assigned to the eternity isle collection, which it shouldn’t be, and the eternity isle collections currently forget things on a daily basis anyway. Hopefully they fix some of that with the update.

I've never run into that on Xbox although some have run into it on Switch, make sure it's actually your turn as sometimes the villager takes quite awhile to think at that point, if that's not the problem you need to save and fully exit DDV, power off the console and unplug it for 5min to clear buffers out, there is a more involved process for Series X if that doesn't fix it.

Yes, it can be fun starting over! And you get to keep all your special items, like from premium shops and star paths. Just make sure you start over correctly by resetting your profile, that way you keep those things!

Sounds like time for a buffer clearing but first make sure your date and time are correct and that sync time to Internet is turned on, then take the Switch out of the cradle and hold down the power button until the menu pops up allowing you to turn it off, leave it off and out of the cradle for 5min before trying again.

Well, if you did, then you would have put it in storage. You cannot drop or sell quest items. So search all of your storage items - dressers, fridges, wardrobes, aquarium, chests. Even if you think "I would never put something here", check it anyways.

Did you uninstall and reinstall the game? If you have PlayStation Plus, you can go a step further and do a clean install, where you make sure sync to the PlayStation cloud is turned off and your save data is uploaded, then uninstall the game, delete console data, reinstall the game, and open the game and let it pull your Gameloft cloud save instead of the data from PS.

Hmmm yeah, sounds like it is failing to upload. Try going to settings, help, and press sync to cloud first. If it says successful, return to title screen, re-enter the game, sync to the cloud again, open the mailbox, then take the picture. (These steps make sure that the game is connected and connecting with the server, so fatting through those steps first will make sure you are connected properly before you try to submit the picture.) If it still gives the error after that, I'm afraid I'm out of options to suggest.

Any thoughts on the quickest way to accumulate Dreamlight? I've been playing since November 2022, and I'm almost finished with all the Dreamlight task categories besides Dreamlight Duties. I dig up all the twinkling spots I can find, but I end up with more night shards than Dreamlight shards, as I imagine is true for most people. And of course, I feed every critter I can, but I only get rewards from them maybe 30% to 40% of the time. I used up a lot of Dreamlight by crafting storage chests, training manuals, and potions, so I'm down to like 25,000 and looking for a way to accumulate more as quickly as possible.

Daily duties over and over and over 💀 it gets somewhat tedious but at the point you're at, thats going to be your best bet for accumulating unless you trade someone for dreamlight shards.

If you need dreamlight, you can also get dreamshards to convert from feeding critters, removing thorns, and digging shiny spots

Thanks! Yes, I've been doing those, but the return on digging spots is a lot lower for dreamshards than for nightshards, and it seems to have gone down for feeding critters as well. When I first started the game, it seemed like every critter I fed for the first time in a day would give me some sort of reward, now it's only 30% to 40% of the time. 🙁

With critters, currently if you feed them their favorite they are bugged and either will give you a shard or nothing even though it’s supposed to be a shard every time. But if you feed them a liked food, you might not get a dreamshard but you will get some type of reward every time.

That quest is a quest of quests. You get the jungle piece by progressing The Wild Tangle’s Swarm and you get the desert piece by progressing The Wanderer of the Dunes. Have you completed both of those quests?

For the green flytraps, a lot of people have come in with this issue and found that they were spawning it tight corners or hiding/layering with other plants that are hard to see. This means that other flytraps won't spawn. I would first suggest looking for them in furniture mode, really carefully. However, if you have a hard time seeing smaller details OR you have checked and there are non, you can use the support link above to reach out. They should be able to send you some (I had this issue with no hidden flytrap as well)

I logged in to DDV on Mac (Not apple arcade) for the first time in 2 weeks today and it loaded me into a completely reset game with 0% progress. I've spent quite a bit of money to get items in the shop, as well as the starpath. I lost all my progress and every time I exit out the game, I make sure to manually iCloud save it just in case something like this happens. Any suggestions?

Make sure you didnt stash them in storage somewhere. Check all of your storage - this can include refrigerators, wardrobes, chests, the aquarium, etc. The quest items cannot be dropped or sold - only stored or kept on your person.

What tracker are you using? If it's not the wiki or #1084168410658766939 it can't be trusted to have items correctly marked as star path or prem shop instead of scrooge shop.

One thing to keep in mind, if there's still a few things you end up not having yet, the accessories counter display works on RNG, so the more you have the harder it becomes to get the last ones, because it still has a chance to pull what you already own. For example the only accessory they added in the last update was a pair of goggles. I had all accessories prior. It took four days for the goggles to show up on my stand. 🤣

Clothing has never had duplicates. If it pulls something you already own you get the sold sign, and it can happen whether you still have things to buy or not, with every clothing display except the windows.

Ahh, ok. The windows have been empty for a while because I’ve bought all of that. So I had assumed the same logic would apply to the other items that don’t offer duplicates. Ie: clothing, wallpaper, flooring.

I’m kinda surprised the algorithm doesn’t work the same in those places. Seems odd that they’d do it one way in one slot and then a different way in the others.

As long as you preload your correct save before you leave, you don't need wifi. Your local save on the device is always the most up to date, the only time the cloud save comes into play is if you play on multiple devices. If this is switch you are taking with you, I'd suggest turning off sync time to internet while abroad. That way even if you do connect to internet the time on the device for sure won't change.

Don' t sync to the internet while you are out of your own timezone. The game will only stick to the timezone that it was first created.

If you last played on PC, open switch and load your cloud save then save it. That updates your switch local save to match your PC save. Then you don't NEED wifi after that point. If you last played on Switch, you're already set.

It looks like a tapered phone pole with a couple of little branches, it's easier to find in furniture mode because it's so tall, you may need to move or turn it to find the pumpkin shaped door.

It's actually 2 squares out from the tree, a plaza tree takes up 1 square by itself so it needs a 5x5 square to fully spawn wood.

Hi there! I played disney dreamlight valley on my steam deck today, and when i tried to play the save file on my pc, it is not giving me the same save file as it is on my steam deck. Cloud saves are turned on and according to steam are synced but I have different outfits and certain buildings not unlocked on my pc and steam deck. How can I fix this?

Steam cloud save is not used for DDV save files. You need to open the game on deck, go to settings help and press sync to cloud. Then exit the game and load on PC.

I think I may have figured out the problem with my not getting moonstones out of the daily chests. (It looked like I was getting them, the animation played correctly, but the total didn't change.) My cloud save doesn't update very often, so I thought I'd try manually syncing it and saving before I opened the blue chests, and it worked.

The best example of this is the Dream fizz recipe. That recipe didn't work on literally any platform. So you know literally no one tested it.

If you got it and it’s not in your character inventory, the quest won’t recognize that you have it but it’s in storage somewhere. Quest exclusive items cannot be dropped or sold, but could be put in any storage in any area including Mickey’s secret room, realms, and anywhere you have them placed inside or outside. Remember it’s not just chests-fridges, wardrobes, aquariums, and more have storage slots.

The point is to carefully check your chests and other storage areas. If the item is in there somewhere, it'll have the icon so it'll be impossible to miss.

I have tested it and don't really advise trying the increased limit on Switch or even Xbox Series S, it increased the load times when going out of a building and caused both of them to pause occasionally to gather their thoughts, I had no other problems.

The update seems to be starting its roll out, update is a rolling update so can take a couple hours to get everyone so please be patient and just remember it will take a bit so do be a bit patient just check your update method on your platform to see if it has arrived for you yet
