Or...it's not as easy to fix as they thought it was. Coding is all about playing whack-a-mole with bugs, and what you think fixed something doesn't always, so they gotta keep trying. This doesn't mean they lied, or that they don't want people to play - that would be super silly on all counts.

Try powering off your switch fully for about 5 minutes to let it cool itself off and see if that helps as sometimes the switch does sometimes get overloaded easily and needs time to relax

If by came back you mean shut down the game and then came back, it's likely a save issue. If you play on Switch make sure you have the game installed on internal, NOT SD. There are known save reversion issue on switch when the game is on SD.

@stiff vine I have it on Xbox I save it like you're supposed to cloud save on the game and then I quit the game so I can go to my other game and when I come back it doesn't say the stuff that picture was 4 hours worth of work gone

Cloud save is only for if you play on multiple devices. It can cause save discrepancies on only one device. If ever prompted always choose local save and not cloud save. When you play on one device the local save is always the most up to date. The cloud save is not even needed unless you play on a different platform.

It saves locally whether you press the button or not. Every five minutes it does it automatically.

Okay but when I cloud saved before I've never had this issue and until we got the new update

It also saves locally upon exiting the game. Meanwhile cloud save is unreliable. If there is any network hiccup or anything it can cause discrepancy. That's why you ALWAYS choose keep local save if you are prompted when you first open the game, because local save will always be current with whatever you did last, while cloud save won't be.

It's fine to use it, you just can't rely on it. When the prompt comes up you have to choose local save. The only time you choose "keep cloud save" is when you change platforms

yeah that works for now just craft what you have the spare resources for and take your time would be the best overall. i did like 1 chest for type so foods, foraging like wood and such, so i could sort them that way and then when i had extra resources start dividing the chests more depending on ho you wanna do that later

Don't overlook any fridges or wardrobes you may buy at Scrooges, each is the same storage as a small chest and doesn't take materials to build, I like to use one in each biome for flowers and herbs when starting out in a game.

There's alternate ways but it's a lot easier to use GeForce Experience, which also makes it easy to keep your driver up to date, as graphics drivers update very frequently.

With the DLC, I've seen it reserve up to 10G of a 2T drive but it runs fine on an old laptop that probably only has 4-5G free - resembles playing on Switch.

i could only drop them when "she" wasnt in my valley, and when i dropped some coal while "she" was connected i couldn't see the coal at all on her account

I have one set up outside in the plaza and whenever I’m low on food I swing by and grab what it made earlier and set a new stack of 10 cooking (it’s the basic kind)

personally i find fruitcake the most efficient! at level 40 I use 4 blueberries and eating two at a time gets me this close 🤏 to a full golden bar without spilling over and wasting food

Berry salad is the easiest to make, just add extra berries for more energy. And the very nice thing about the cookers is that when you alter a recipe, it keeps it!

It should not be trying to start a new game when playing offline, it's doing that because it can't login correctly, try restarting your router, then reboot the PC once the router is back up.

Wood is by biome, not by tree. So it just depends on what you want to collect. If you want all wood, then put a tree farm in each biome. You can look at your collections tab to see where the different woods spawn.

You need to turn it back on if the game loads correctly so you can have it connect and manually save to cloud to overwrite the existing cloud save that might be corrupt, turning off your WiFi router is usually the easiest way, just turn it back on after the game loads, if it does.

If it loads correctly without the Internet - the cloud save is causing the problem, it can be corrupted quite easily by any number of Internet glitches but overwriting it should cure the problem and it will go back to loading correctly without doing anything special.

I use two cookers simultaneously on a regular basis. I know someone who does six.
Vacuums you don’t need more than one per zone. And there is a limit on gardeners (four per biome). But if cookers are bugging when you have multiple placed then that is definitely not intended.

okay two things: 1) Go to your home and into a blank room. Throw a few random items down, enough to meet the criteria, and see if it still shows up as Touch of magic - if so, it's something you are wearing. If it doesn't, then it's something either where you are or in the biome behind you. I had to remove ever rug on my beach because it was catching a corner of it where I couldn't see it.

It depends on your time zone, the daily reset for favorite items and conversations is 5am your time while the star path ends in 10.5hrs, if you have any biomes left unopened you should be able to find enough night thorns, keep doing rounds in Forgotten lands for the diamonds - they can drop at any point.

Only other thing I know to try is what I suggested before. Go to Steam launch options for DDV and type in -disablemodding then launch the game. You can also search file explorer for the DDV.exe and right click it and go to properties and make sure fullscreen optimization is off and check other options there. You can also if you haven't put steam into big picture mode before launching the game and see if it makes a difference.

You have to just keep casting until you hit the right spot. It can take a lot of tries but you will hit it eventually

This has been going on for a month maybe more but I get NO accessories or clothes in scrooges shop and I know I do not own everything and far from it cause I see tons off stuff o. Dream snaps I don’t have I can’t report it since it won’t let me post in that section

The way it works is RNG. What the store pulls to put on the accessory shelf is completely random. Because you can only buy clothing once, if it pulls something you already own, there's only a sign instead of an item. The more full your collection gets, the harder it gets to get the last few items you may need. You can double check your collection by using #1084168410658766939 to see what you already have, what you still need and from where.

Make sure you manually sync'd to the cloud on the main device before trying to load on a second device. If you manually and successfully sync'd to the cloud then yes, you can play on the secondary device without the DLC.

It's because the last local save on your switch is different from your cloud save, since the local save on the switch will be from the last time you played on Switch, while the cloud save is the last time you played the game on the main device. 💜

Yeah, critters reset at midnight local time. So if you fed them after that, it won't count for the mist duty that appeared after you fed them. It only counts the first feed of the day

Yah, it's likely cause the path ended, then. You have to use them up before the path ends or they go poof.

that isn't an infinite farm for moonstone so if you have 0 left then you are good as it is mostly for getting rid of extra tokens as buying too many extra tokens comes at a negagive
