I was decorating around Scrooge's shop and when I exited furniture mode, the shop vanished. I looked around my valley and couldn't find it, I ended up finding it in the furniture tab however it was only at stage 1 (right after it gets repaired), I had his shop fully upgraded. I've fully quit the game twice, once where I hadn't placed the stage 1 shop and a second time after I did the shop never reverted back. Do I have to restart his shop all over?

Yes, the standard valley would work under game pass but would need the DLC to visit the isle, this guide would get you started with cross progression;

Hourglass at max level will give you new stuff, not more of the same stuff. Also yes, a higher level timebending buddy will increase the odds of getting more. The more timebending buddies you have, the higher the chance, also at some point you'll get even more if you have enough of them.

On PC, does anyone know how to delete your local save file to force a resync with your cloud save? For context, I made some changes I'm not happy with, which autosaved, and my cloud save is 7 hrs out of date and I would like to revert back to that time, but I can't figure out how. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but that didn't work.

Unless you were playing in offline mode, the cloud save is most likely within 5-10min of the local save even after a force close, the time shown is from the time the cloud save file was opened until you manually sync and does not reflect the actual state of the file, if you really want to try and recover just the cloud save, follow these instructions without syncing to cloud first, I do recommend making a backup of the current file;

I guess maybe that's partially where my confusion lies because the way that reads is that I haven't saved to cloud for 7 hrs.

I've found that's the case when the game is started, it keeps track until you manually save to cloud, then says synced until it misses 2 or more autoupdates, no matter what the timer says, it tries to update the cloud save immediately after each autosave with no verification as far as I can tell.

might be a glitch. but could be the system. i know some systems like androidd apple and nintendo switch have a limit of things you can have in the valley and isle. this includes dropped items like rocks, flowers and sticks you pick up. so if your limit's gone over it may not dig in that biome. or if you have too many holes dug in the valley it may glitch. i know they vanish after 3 days but if you have too many holes you haven't filled in it may not let you open any more.

Only two green flytraps spawn at a time and they can clip/blend with the foliage. Look carefully and check the little risen area north of the main promenade area up to the castle as well as the area northeast of the main promenade that starts with all that bamboo decor, those count too. Use a level two plus vacuum if possible.

Which flower as you can set the other flowers to their max spawn as each biome only spawns so many of each flower at a time, so you can make a small garden of the flowers you don’t need to stop them from respawning and only get what you need as flowed respawn about 15 minutes and 2 hours to fully respawn

!support Quest crafts sometimes only appear if you have all items in your player inventory, not in storage. Also, quest crafts sometimes go to the bottom of the crafting menu, so I would make sure you’ve checked all categories carefully first. If you are absolutely certain it’s not there, it might be worth contacting support before doing something dramatic like restarting, as they have been known to give glitched/missing quest items through the in game mail. Include a picture of your stack of pebbles if possible.

Smart transfer sometimes bugs out after using vacuums, save exit reload.
Night thorns may only spawn if you log in, so if you’re fully not interacting with the game at all, it may not load.

Although I had multiple Ancient Cores 2 and 3, I couldn't find Ancient Cores Level 1. I finally got 2, made the Ancient Cooker Basic and placed it in the Valley. I tried to use it once and it took the ingredients, cooked for a while but when I went back for the items they were not in my inventory. I wanted to make Ancient Cooker Regular so I picked up the Ancient Cooker Basis, saw it in my appliances category. When I tried to make Ancient Cooker Regular the Basic one was gone and I don't have anymore Ancient Cores Level 1 to make more. What is going on????

The tier one cooker is a crafting material for the tier two, so once you made the tier two the tier one is used up the same way iron or dark wood is for other recipes.

Cooked items have to be manually claimed from the cooker, it’s not automatically put in your inventory.

A friend of mine has had a game breaking glitch for a while now. Every time she tried to do the Nala quest, the game would go into a permanent black screen. It's gotten to the point now where I think it autosaved while she was doing the quest and now she can't load into the game at all. It's just a stuck black screen every time she tries to load in.

It sounds like you may be unable to see the rain effect. To test this, go to the glade and plant any crop. Don't water it. Wait and watch. When the crop gets wet that means it is raining, and you will then be able to catch the glittering herring from an orange circle in the glade.

Rain is random, so it could take a while.

Not a problem, if that doesn't work a clean install would be the next step but we don't like to recommend that on Xbox without a backup on another platform like PC or Switch.

That's where you uninstall the game, wipe all the save data from the console and Xbox cloud, then reinstall the game and let it pull the Gameloft cloud save normally used to change platforms, it's risky without a backup save and Xbox can't make a real backup.

The crate is received from Scrooge after giving him the alexandrite, jade, and spinel.

If the quest is already telling you to get the chair, copper, tropical wood, and oasis glass, you should already have the crate as obtaining the crate was the previous step of the quest.

Did you just buy rift since last you looked at it? Mist duties count as soon as you buy it. There isn’t an increased max size or a separate well mechanic on the docks so it counts against your completion percentage, which is how the tree stages are calculated.

So, last night I was wondering in here if the Center Of Attention quest for Gaston was bugged and I don't think anyone was able to respond so if anyone knows pls let me know! The menu tells me I have traded the gems to Scrooge and in my furniture menu I have 2 Gaston Antler Chairs but that and the Gastonian Furniture Crate aren't checked off on my list of materials?? Online Services Error

This is a MTU issue on Gameloft's end, but until they fix it, here are some optional workarounds.

ATTN: We can only provide you the base workarounds, we can't tell you exactly how to do them as we are not tech support or permitted to do more than give you options.

Option #1
VPN: Use a VPN to get around the issue. If on a console you have to install the VPN to your router.

Option #2
Change the MTU setting on your router to 1450. If 1450 doesn't work, do 1400.

Option #3
Play on Switch: Switch has a base MTU below 1450 allowing it to work when other devices won't.

Option #4 (PC ONLY)
Run command prompt as administrator then type in the following to find out the interface name and current MTU:
netsh interface ipv4>show subinterfaces
If the above command fails, instead remove the > and add a single space. Do the same for all following commands.

If your MTU is above 1450, run the following command and change the name in quotes to match your Ethernet or Wifi name (whichever connection you are using):
netsh interface ipv4>set interface "Ethernet" mtu=1450

This change will only work until you reboot your PC.
If the above command works for you, you can make the change persistent by running the following command:
netsh interface ipv4>set interface "Ethernet" mtu=1450 store=persistent

If it doesn't work or if your MTU is already set to 1450, try an MTU of 1400 instead.

Hello! Anyone have any good tips that are helpful when grinding memory orbs? For example, are orange fishing spots more likely to produce one vs white spots? Or pumpkins better than wheat? Etc. Are drop rates completely random, or can anything be done to improve odds? Just wondering if there are any hidden mechanics to know about to make the grind easier. Thanks!

just a personal tip from me, in my eyes I feel like the chances increase when you don't use any of the ancient machines (if you have the expansion). for example, you could use the gardener to plant & water, but i notice harvesting crops by hand vs using the machine to harvest at once garners me more memory orbs. i think it might have something to do with a chance of drop for each action (pick one crop at a time). same with the ancient cooker, although i don't use them much

That is a good point. I noticed I do, very occasionally, get a memory when harvesting thorns/spices using a vacuum, but its way more rare than when I pick them individually. The machine treating it as only one action would make that make sense. So basically, whatever activity gives you the most actions in the shortest time is the way to go. Like fishing off of fishing spots for example, since its only one click per catch.

You can try untracking, leaving the area, exiting the game all the way, then log back in, track, and enter the area again. No guarantees, but this is how we used to fix quests a lot.

I’m trying to transfer my cloud save from my switch to my Xbox account on my PC. At one point I used my husbands Xbox account login to access my cloud save and now it is giving me an error of “failed to log in with this email address because there is another account registered to it already”. I have logged back into my husbands account and unlinked my cloud save and deleted all gameplay history on his account, however it is still saying that the email is in use for some reason. I also did the uninstall process someone else’s mentioned on here and that hasn’t helped either! I think maybe it’s because my user IDs are different? Any advice?

Oh gosh! That's Somer's old one. They stopped updating around the time Stitch came out, which was December 2022. I overhauled it in March last year, which is what Chelly linked you. It usually takes me a week or two after a bug update drops to get it done, then as people find things I update more. Premium Shop items get added as they show up, but you can always see all changes in the Change Log tab.

But I started playing early last year on my MacBook and sometimes use the cloud save so I can play on the go. If I buy the expansion on MacBook, will I be able to play it on both? I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. If you are talking about the original house skin and it's color alternatives, those are only available as skins for your main house, they aren't available as extra placeable homes.

If Scrooge doesn’t have any under that filter in the catalog, that means you bought any relevant items from the catalog already. It’s not a specific item. Search your wardrobe using the filters mentioned in the quest text and you likely already have something.

yeah. i've had to redo quests sometimes where i've done it but the game thinks it hasn't. it glitched itself and acted lke the past 10 or so minutes i did nothing before the crash. so if you found it right before you gave it to him you might need to find it again. if it's the same glitch i'd had before

well it got me to 4 quickly. from 4 to 10 is usually slow. gifts make it go quicker. and doing tasks. so if they're a miner have them travel around while you mine a bunch of rocks would level them up more. any tasks will level them up a little too. so if you're gardening, digging, etc. too. but i think their tssk would give you more bonus for that thing too.

Honestly that’s similar to what happened with what i posted before about my green seed going missing from player inventory after i already interacted with the shelf. I restarted my game and found it in my home storage? Definitely did not put it there lol. Hopefully it glitches back for you too

I seem to be stuck on the last part of the Glowing Up quest with Rapunzel. It requires 2 Purple Seating for a campsite in the Wild Tangle. The only purple seating I can find or purchase from Scrooge’s store is the indoor only hanging chair, so they can’t be placed outside. The category of bending drops known as fragments show up one type per day on a random schedule that’s different for everyone and often has the same one multiple days in a row. Some seem rarer for certain players. For me, the hardest ones were piano legs and pedestal chunks.

You don’t, unless you cross reference your decor inventory or crafting collection first. The crafting table doesn’t tell you that.

if your clothing collection is at like 70% or so, that means you’ve bought all the clothing from scrooge - the rest is from friendship unlocks, star paths, premium shop, twitch drops and codes

I am playing the new star path and I keep getting random items throughout the valley (centennial air balloon inside remy’s and in the plaza, and monsters inc inside Scrooge’s store and jack’s house). Anyone else has this issue?

That does seem to be a newer issue that is spawning up for some people it sure says causing them to show up randomly would suggest save quit reload see if that helps

Leave the realm and go back in, should be able to pick it up then.

If you have carefully searched the entire library by walking into all the nooks and cranny's without seeing sparkles, it's possible you picked it up earlier if you have had the quest very long, check your storage for a stray book.

If you are talking about the coffee seedling, once you craft and plant the seedling in the glade of trust, the quest should change to "tend the seedling", it needs to be watered twice and in about 15 min it disappears, 3 new coffee plants are then around the glade.

I suggest they look around the glade for the coffee plants, they look just like the small round, green bushes but with dots on them, one is near the original location of Goofy's cart.

When you log into your Nintendo account on a different Switch, it should give you a list of your games you can download.

If you have setup your cloud save, progress will transfer with it for sure, otherwise I'm not sure, this guide will set you up for cross progression;

Yes, it will stay with your account even if you start over but there is no hurry to purchase it, the dream bundles have all stayed available so far.

the vanessa bundle does come with outfits and furniture but they're unlocked through her quests. belle's bundle has no quests and comes with the items already unlocked
