Doesn't surprise me, one of the first things I did with Eternity isle was try the same house skin and then see if I could also place it as a second, it told me it would be mover from the valley and I was impressed, to bad other things were not as well thought out.

As long as it's raining, no, they aren't hard to get. You still have a chance to get a swordfish but you will easily get fugu from orange bubbles as long as it is raining.

Try taking the raft back to shore then going back out. Stand back a bit from the spot so you can hold the button down when you cast all the way until it lands. Hold the button down and don't release until the bobber lands in the circle.

It is still possible to get them yes, it's just a one in three chance and cores are low chance as it is, so it can be hard to get the ones you want. I tend to have better luck getting 1s and 2s in the valley instead of on the isle.

If you are able to do multiplayer you can go into #spoiler-chat and list your platform and ask if anyone has any 2 cores they'd like to trade! People are always needing cores so it's nice to have that option to swap with folks. You just need to be on the same platform type in order to trade DLC items.

In theory no, but they don’t always track well. For example, (based on chat from veteran ps players in spoilers) if you started on a ps4 then moved to a ps5, progress on trophies does not carry over and that sometimes makes the trophies impossible to complete.

That is correct for fragments. Only one random type spawns per day. You can see which one is available each day in the collections tab.

Log in every day but do not touch the chests for four days. If you touch them, you'll break the fix. On the 5th day, try and gather them.

That message is because it got triggered by the anti-cheat mechanism. Used to only happen with time travel but for whatever reason, it triggered for a lot of people with the update.

I have a possibe bug with these Egg Pile, I had a quest from Gaston, where you need to gather these eggs and piranhas and then you eat like gaston, I unfortunatelly picked up some eggs, stored in my house and then another day pick another eggs and went back to the house for the rest, but I got 1 egg more than was needed for the Q, but the Q only took the ammount, that was requested and left this one in my backpack, I cannot sell it, I cannot drop it, I can only store it somewhere, so it only takes up space, does anyone know what could I do with it?

if you path an area, the harvestables won't spawn (flowers & crops), but wood and such will still spawn. unsure about the sparkling holes but i do know you can get dream shards from feeding critters. you can always leave an area in the biome unpathed for those things to spawn though

If you loaded the game on laptop and synced to cloud from your laptop, when you went back to PC you needed to choose to keep the local save, not the cloud save. If you chose cloud save on PC you overwrote your good save with the old one.

Can someone explain how the universe and hangout bonus on gifts work?

For timebending, there are different categories of items. For the gift category specifically, if you hang out with any character from that universe, the associated gift is more likely to spawn. It is not a guarantee but on the averages over longer periods it does have a notable impact, generally speaking. You can see which universe is associated with which gift in the collections screen.

This is separate from the buddy bonus and does not require the buddy to be trained in timebending. However, it can stack with a buddy bonus with a trained buddy from the universe associated with a particular gift.

For attic mode, the aliens spawn only in chez Remy and the dream castle. Check carefully under tables and near foliage in the castle. If you have been on the quest a while, check ALL storage. Any aliens in storage will NOT count as having been collected.

Anyone else have the issue with “The Ice Cavern Mystery” Elsa quest? When I originally went to get the Green Crest from the grandfather clock at Anna’s it didn’t do anything when I interacted with it. I tried leaving the house and re-entering, didn’t work, so I restarted the game and it was gone-no more sparkling and no more interaction option. It’s not anywhere on the floor either. At the advice of game support, I uninstalled and reinstalled, but that also did not fix it. They said they’re forwarding the issue to the devs. I’ve been stuck for almost a week now and it’s prohibiting me from advancing in that quest and another one as I need to complete that quest with Elsa to progress in the Merlin quest line. Pull up the steam overlay in game, go to controller settings, click edit layout, click the settings wheel next to the keybind for time bending, click settings, then enable hold to repeat (turbo) for that keybind. It will allow you to hold down the button instead of having to spam the button.

I'm wondering if anyone is having this issue regarding the current dreamsnaps. I'm playing around with different angles and different placement of items and I noticed that when I am zoomed out to get items in the photo, I have less items tagged than when I'm zoomed in. I'm literally in the same exact position and angle, just one is more zoomed in than the other.

I unfortunately can't attach a photo as my discord rank isn't high enough, but the zoomed in one is showing 43/4 and 43/6 and my zoomed out one is showing 31/4 and 35/6. My zoomed out one encompasses everything in the zoomed in one, so I don't understand why it is registering less tags.

You need to double check that by going to the touch of magic tab in both the wardrobe and the furniture menu. If there are any items in there, you can delete the designs to remove them from the world. The error has never happened for no reason.

We have a potential workaround: log in every day but do not touch any moonstone chests for 4 days. On the 5th day, try to open them.

Oh yeah, 99% of the people with this issue did not time travel. It's just that something got WEIRD during the update and we have no idea what, so we don't know how to actually fix it. Sending people to support has been useless, but this HAS been flagged.

There's an easy way to test if it's glitch vs an item placed. Go into an EMPTY room in your house. Place items to meet the challenge reqs, then take a picture. If it lets you submit, you have a ToM item somewhere outside. ToM furniture counts in a clothing challenge, and ToM clothing counts in a furniture challenge. ToM items placed in the world count in a photo even if not visible in the picture, if they are in the frame at all, even behind something or a biome over. So this test will tell you for sure if you have a ToM item in the world somewhere.

• Merlin and Fairy G. always request the same 8 items. Merlin's items are always things you can make easily at the start of the game.
• Ursula always wants flowers and items that are purple or blue. food options are a wide range.
• Gothel likes soups and leeks. for some reason.
• Scrooge usually asks for gems and platters or salads.
• Remy likes asking for 3-5 star meals
• Olaf and Wall-E will never ask for food.

the rest, there's too much of a variation to really say definitively what they want, but it's usually food.

Purchased moonstones, including those bought as part of a game purchase, are platform locked. Only earned moonstones from chests or dreamsnaps can transfer. Items purchased with moonstones transfer fine.

My issue is with the cooking menu on infinity mode. It is not alphabetical, just stacks of every menu type north to south. I honestly cannot tell the difference between appetizer and entre, so the filter by those is useless to me, but then I have to scroll for five minutes to make the meal the npc wants.

6am is after midnight. So it something is 12a -8a, and it's 6a for you, you're in the window. One it reaches 12a, it moves to the next day.

Time bending cores are not day specific, just rare. You'll want to be time bending at those bug orbs, and the more of the little portals inside you can open, the better.

The teleportation glitch only happens when they’re in the narrow enclosed spaces. Fast travel to the valley and back to reset the spawn. You may have to do it more than once. Once they’re in the large open part of their biome, they will not teleport.

That quest is a quest of quests. You’re not just timebending. The quests you need to complete for the third jewel are “the wanderer of the dunes,” “the wild tangle’s swarm,” and “diamond in the rough.” At the end of the third quest, you will find the jewel.

To start the first of those quests, find Gaston near the quicksand pool in the first area of the dunes you unlocked.

Do you have the game on SD card? The leading cause of lost progress on Switch is having the game on external storage, it must be run from internal or it will have multiple problems.

Cloudsave is not just for going between platforms, it's for backing up your save and keeping things up to date, using the shop, avoiding dreamsnaps issues etc.

In my experience, when my game has crashed (on my switch version), reopening it asked me if I wanted to open local or cloud save due to a conflict. If this ever happens to you, be sure to click cloud save.

Most people don't have that problem right away, reseating the card may help in the future but moving the game to internal will stop it from happening at all unless the internal storage is jammed full, we don't recomend using the cloud as backup because the chance of a problem is too high.

When you are opening the game on the same device and platform as your last session, you should always use the local save unless it has an obvious problem because of a crash or power loss.

DDV needs 5G or so of free space to run properly, that's after it's installed, it runs very nice on my Switch that has very little else on it.😆

It didn't give me an option for which save... it's weird because I kept my event rewards that I earned between and even kept the event duties I was on, just reset my progress on those duties and all in-game stuff was reset like I no longer had Mike and Sulley and all my items were reset back a day and everything. So if I can access a local save somehow I would love to see if I can get it back

I said when my game has a crash on switch, I choose the cloudsave. And if it happens to them, to do the same. I also recommended a real back up to use as the back up earlier. I'm not sure if that got lost in translation or my wording, but we are agreeing on the same thing here.

The local save is overwritten when the game opens, it sounds like you missed an autosave, doing a save from Settings/help on the left side, not "save to cloud", do that after the regular save, then exit the game and then close it fully, letting DDV sleep or pause can also cause problems.

In the event of a crash, it's more likely that the cloud save will have errors than the local, especially if you wait 5min for an autosave before force closing DDV, I almost always use the local to reopen my game - once it showed level 1 when it should have been 40 so I used cloud - that was due to sudden shutdown of a PC due to the cute puppy in my pic.🤓

Usually the numbers you see on local vs cloud save usually. It helped once when I kind of broke a quest. (though not sure if it was broken ornot )

Compare the numbers, use the one with the most time or XP if they are otherwise similar, if they appear identical, I always use local because the difference is likely checksum meaning the cloud is possibly bad.

•Go to system settings.
•Under your Apple ID, click on Sign-In and Security.
•Click on Sign-In with Apple ID.
•Go to Disney Dreamlight Valley and click "Stop Using Apple ID."

This is a MTU issue on Gameloft's end, but until they fix it, here are some optional workarounds.

ATTN: We can only provide you the base workarounds, we can't tell you exactly how to do them as we are not tech support or permitted to do more than give you options.

Option #1
VPN: Use a VPN to get around the issue. If on a console you have to install the VPN to your router.

Option #2
Change the MTU setting on your router to 1450. If 1450 doesn't work, do 1400.

Option #3
Play on Switch: Switch has a base MTU below 1450 allowing it to work when other devices won't.

Option #4 (PC ONLY)
Run command prompt as administrator then type in the following to find out the interface name and current MTU:
netsh interface ipv4>show subinterfaces
If the above command fails, instead remove the > and add a single space. Do the same for all following commands.

If your MTU is above 1450, run the following command and change the name in quotes to match your Ethernet or Wifi name (whichever connection you are using):
netsh interface ipv4>set interface "Ethernet" mtu=1450

This change will only work until you reboot your PC.
If the above command works for you, you can make the change persistent by running the following command:
netsh interface ipv4>set interface "Ethernet" mtu=1450 store=persistent

If it doesn't work or if your MTU is already set to 1450, try an MTU of 1400 instead.

This is correct. They share storage, so that you can access the items in them wherever. Folks use them to put in each biome to store things and get them back to your home, or to get energy foods out, or whatever. Or to move things from floor to floor/room to room in your home.

I have a question about a quest for Gaston, called “Gaston the… Hero?” I found the compass pieces from the docks and the oasis. But I’ve been searching all morning for the one in the Grove. I’d search near the waters in the Grove like it says, then I’d save and wait an hour before searching again. This is my 3rd time getting on the game this morning for the piece to not show up. Is there something wrong with the question or can I not read?

Today when I booted the game it said "New game" and when I clicked on "Cloud Save" it wanted me to log in but when I do so it says "Cannot connect to online services. Continue playing in offline mode"

This issue has been going on all day and I'm connected to internet and been playing other online games.

Trying to start a new game usually means you are not logged into the correct account, but, they just updated the identity provider app in Windows so I'd check your Microsoft store library for updates, reboot the PC and then try again.
