it's right when you enter the realm, just go forward. there's a bit of a twisty path on the left here that goes forward, go through that and you will immediately see the rocks

Not sure what you mean by waterfall doors, if you mean the doors near the players house, they need to be open for that quest, one of the pics needs to be taken in that hallway, the submerged door you are likely looking for is beyond Eve's house, to the left of where you first found her.

There are a few removable environmental objects that cannot be re placed once removed unfortunately. That’s one I thought. I believe the sand dunes from the Dunes are another.

Check under "all", scroll all the way to the bottom and see if you can find this. It's called Ancient's Landing Pedestal. The orb isn't visible in furniture mode.

The orb in ancient's landing is the pedestal. It's a bit bugged and only shows the orb sometimes while it only shows the pedestal in furniture mode.

The All category has all items in order of when they were added to your own catalog. So if you've only just picked up the orb it would be right at the bottom.

I'm doing a quest in the dlc, and it says to craft 2 of a certain item. When I go to the crafting station to do so, not the time bending table because its a crafting item not a time bend item. But when I open up the craft station menu I can't find the item in the list to even craft it.

You can craft holiday items any time. As long as the material unlocks in your collection tab the recipes will unlock.

Nope, none of the recipes are bugged. Make sure you have the right ingredients and that you're giving them all time to get in the pot before you click cook.

I usually hit cook too fast when cooking on my Xbox - it's slower than the PC's by a bit, it hasn't goofed up since the last update and today I was trying to do it on Switch and it ignored the cook button if I pressed it too soon.

As bad as me, except I have 5 valleys on Steam and Xbox, 3 on Epic - Gameloft has a bit of my money at this point, Steam is your best bet to create a totally new account on, you can setup their family sharing so you don't have to purchase another copy of the base game, then when you first run DDV on the new player account, link it to the second cloud save, you should be able to use the change password option to force the account change. I create another user on the PC itself, then create a Steam account for them and then sign them into the family share.

Gameloft has been tying platform user names to the cloud save emails, on Epic and Xbox app they also tie the PC user name, they may start to do that on Steam so it's best to just start with a different PC user if you can.

Nope, it's quite annoying, the only platform currently sharing the expansion pass is Switch, otherwise it's both account and platform specific. And very happy that all worked for you, did you have to change the password on the cloud save?

Nope! When I opened up the game for the first time on the new PC account I logged in with my 2nd account cloud save info and it worked right away 😌

You should be able to play offline with no problems other than the things that require the connection, the blue chest may not actually spawn until you get online again but it should count the login to generate one for the day.

i’m stuck on ||scar’s nature & nurture|| quest. i planted the ||orb of nurturing||, and i need to wait a few days before something eventful happens. what is a few days? it’s been 2-3 days now, but nothing has happened. the plant is still there and watered. is there something i’m missing here?

Did you actually water it regularly, or does it just look like it’s watered? Sometimes quest plants look watered even when not.

i watered it once. i went back to water it again the next day, but it was already dripping with water. i actually never seen it dry. oh really? okay, i’ll try watering it rn. it’s still watered, but i’ll try.

The visual bug trips people up sometimes, so I just thought I would ask. It sounds like that might be your issue since the visual status did change when you watered it.

Another question: when you have watered it, did you have a growth elixir active on your watering can?

Exactly. @sinful frigate The growth elixirs can break quest plants so if you did that there might be a more serious issue. But if it was just the visual appearance looking like it didn’t need water, then you having just watered it now might mean you still have to wait a little while.

I do wish they'd fix that quest. It's been broken like that for almost a year and a half and folks don't realize they have to water it every 8 hours, so it takes them way longer than it should. Same with the Dreamlight tree. sigh

omg, no- i did. 😭 i had no choice but to do so bc merlin requested it of me. it’s part of the quest. this quest is the reason why i now have the ability to craft both the miracle growth elixir and the even more miraculous growth elixir. i hope it’s just a visual bug, and didn’t mess up the game.

The quest is misleading, but after the one Merlin requests (which is safe), you don’t actually have to do that.

Since it appears you may have the watering status not looking right glitch, I think it would be worth watering it regularly no matter what it looks like for the next day or two. The elixir breaking quest plants glitch is not one hundred percent. You might be okay.

If it doesn’t grow in the next few days, then your orb may be bugged from the elixir. If that is the case, then probably your only options are to leave that quest for now (but as @fossil warren mentioned, the bug has been there for well over a year so far) or consider restarting https://discord.com/channels/938880698478125057/1105264756748726353

You should be okay - Merlin tells you to use an elixir the first time, that's fine! But after that first one, you can't use another elixir and if, when you just watered it, there was still an elixir running, that may be an issue.

Water it with your regular can every 6-8 hours for 2-3 days.

You're absolutely welcome. These bugs get...buggy. ROFL And it can be really hard to keep track of what is and isn't broken and how, be a use sometimes they fix a quest step and another part breaks.

Yea I knew that the quest introduces elixirs, but I forgot that using it once is a mandatory step. Haha there’s a lot to remember with some of these bugs, but I like to try and help where I can. 😊 and yes, these bugs are sometimes very confusing even if you think you know what they are!

Hey guys. Is the iPhone arcade version able to “sync” with the Xbox game version?

iPhone only has Apple Arcade whereas Mac has that or the full game. Arcade has no starpaths or premium items b/c no IAP. I highly doubt they could cross-sync let alone to XBox but you might file a help ticket if no one who's actually tried it responds…but I wouldn't hold your breath.

You had to have gotten it through one of the console stores. I mean, you may have gone through the website but it was still for one of the platforms. It directs you to their stores. You may need to check your email, see if you kept the purchase receipt, see what it says. For PC it would have been Epic, Steam, or Xbox app.

Quick question, game of responded to my inquiry about me, not receiving the blue moonstone chest every day however, their response was not related to the blue moonstone chest. Rather, it was related to some sort of quest with a blue potato, which was not what I was asking so my question is do I have to open up a brand new ticket, or was it OK that I responded to their email the chat on here didn’t respond with the status of my ticket. I'd go see if the bottles are back in place, that would indicate that your game did not save correctly, if they aren't there either, the she storage could have gotten jumbled but that usually happens when your game crashes, just have to search all storage in that case.

I went back and looked where I got one of the bottles and it wasn’t there….and they aren’t in any of my storage chests either. I’ll probably go try to follow a guide to find all the bottles and see if it’s still an issue.

Is there an issue with cloud not syncing between the switch and pc? I had no issue using my cloud save on the switch but my pc won't run an updated cloud save.

If you went from Switch to PC but the PC did not show a cloud save conflict, you need to reopen the game on the Switch using the local save and manually sync to cloud again from Settings/Help, then exit and try the PC again, the autosave at exit doesn't always work.

If the PC is not seeing the cloud save, check for updates and reboot, if it still won't get online with Gameloft you probably need to look into these workarounds;

Success post: My wife was playing her save on my Xbox account. We had created her account a while back but didn’t think about logging in until recently. We got the game on both accounts (since on gamepass) and loaded in on her account just to find out that the gameloft account was tied to my account meaning her save was stuck. I contacted support and they told me that I cannot unlink the account unless it’s attached to a separate platform than the Xbox. I have gamepass for pc as well so I thought “why not.” I loaded into the game on my Xbox account on pc then contacted support saying it was done. They emailed me this morning stating they unlinked the gameloft account from my Xbox account and attached it to hers. I logged into her game on her account this morning and BAM success. Now she has access to her rift in time dlc. It took almost 4 days talking with support (they’re a lil slow to respond) but they managed to transfer her save from my Xbox account to hers. Just in case anyone is in the same boat.

The dried vfx doesn't work for a lot of quest items. This is one of them. Even though it doesn't look dry and doesn't highlight when you hover over it with your watering can, sprinkle it anyways. Every 8 or so hours, and it takes several days

What I did was used steam's controller mapping to turn on turbo press for A while Timebending, that way I could just hold the button down, because it was killing my TOCS.

When you get into the "edit layout" screen, just select the keybind you want to edit, and then choose settings. There will be an option to enable turbo. It will look like this.

Don't get me wrong though Gameloft should definitely add it as a feature, but for now at least this is an option.

Steam's keybinding feature is the whole reason it's my main gaming platform. LOL.

im trying to farm pumpkins to make some money but whenever i bring someone with me for extra pumpkins they spew them out completely everywhere in the biome is there aynthing i can do to fix it or a quicker way to pick up the pumpkins before they lose there glow and have to be picked up once at a time?

they need to have space to throw them so if your space is too crowded and they don't have enough room, they'll toss them to where there is. You might also, if you have a big farm, make sure you run through and pick up all the glowy ones every so often because they don't stay glowy for super long.

And if you have a bunch that lose their glow and you have the xpac and extra mist you can use a vacuum to pick them up.

What PC graphics settings should I do to emulate the switch graphics settings? On high the colors feel washed out and a little dreary in the rain, but I want it to be like how it is on my switch where it feels calming and not so dreary but still with nice textures. Oh dear. :/ Texture quality? Could it also perhaps be affected by display settings outside the game? Ik that some games can display weird on some monitors of computers requiring some fiddling with display settings, global resolution etc.
I haven't encountered this bug with ddv before personally and resolved it, I hope someone who does replies, wishing you good luck . Note that I'm on steam deck so hoping a PC player responds to you

It shouldn’t! I had two level 2s and one level 3 for a while before upgrading the last two.

I do notice sometimes when I auto fill the ingredients it will kick me out of the auto cooker menu without cooking anything but I just have to go back in again and my chosen ingredients are still there and I just need to choose how many to cook and then it’ll work again.

This might be totally irrelevant to your case since you're dealing with a bona fide bug, but I found mine looks best on medium graphic preset with PC medium shadow medium distance high texture default. I've noticed that they don't seem to have smooth anti aliasing on high and it makes a lot of things have pixelated jagged edges. (Maybe that's the reason high feels a little uncomfortable for me sometimes)

Make sure you carefully walk along the cliff wall in Dazzle, sometimes they can be inside the rocks. Watch for the pickup prompt. You can also move all your houses and buildings to one biome to easily search where they were in case any were underneath.

The problem I had was when you first get to the isle a lot more flowers were growing in these areas then will spawn back. I fixed it by collect all the flowers in The Grasslands & The Promenade. A few hours later you should now have 2 Green Fly Traps & 4 Purple Fly Traps spawn in.

Could be either. They do have quests, and they are about a week apart, so if you haven't done them all then there may be one. However, there is a bug that has been causing the icon to appear when there's no quest. Go talk to them - if they don't have a quest for you, it's the bug and should be reported in #1181238652626554902

I'm working on Prince Eric's Back on the Waves quest and am stuck on "Get the sea maps from Scrooge". There's no dialogue option to speak to him about this quest, can't order them from the store etc.

Well the good thing is that now that you found that 1 Green you will get another in a few hours. If you are getting 4 Purple you can leave those & just carefully search for that 2nd Green. They are sneaky & can blend in with the other plants. Walk the edges & see if the pick up action flashes. Yeah, if you can get a vacuum then that will really help.

As far as I know the apple arcade version does not have user accessible data, rather it's stored in the cloud through the apple game center thing that arcade uses. If they can't access the iCloud, that's probably why they don't have their data.

The 4k extra on Switch are likely from your initial base game if you don't spend moonstones on that platform, it spends purchased ones first if you have any on the platform when you buy something from the premium shop or upgrade your Star path.

I don't think you can run out of landscaping materials from your furniture menu, there are many variations of each listed item, you can fill entire biomes looking for a particular tree.

Why does this say I can craft the small tool potions in the next level up of my Hourglass? (I made all small potions in one of Merlin’s quests, and after recently upgrading the hourglass again I now have access to the large tool potions.)

Yes and no. Check the list - things count for different parts. You can have as many fences as you like - it only counts one. Holes count, but crops don't, so cover your digging plots.

Flowers start respawning after 15 mins, take 2 hours for full spawn. Mushrooms are about the same. Mining nodes respawn after 5 mins, but the big rocks/tree stumps are daily

no, all players’ royal tools are disabled during valley visits. your royal tools will be grayed out on the selection wheel. the most you can do to another player’s valley at the moment is forage flowers, pick up items they’ve dropped (e.g. meals, crafting material, etc.), shop at their scrooge’s store, vice versa.

You could always craft that more than once, though, you just had to do it at the time of the quest. They've made it so you can't do that anymore, but that item can now be crafted afterwards. I suspect it's because you always COULD craft more, because it was a functional item vs a decorative one.

Your hourglass has to be fully upgraded, and then yes, they are rare. Cores are already rare, then you have a 1 in 3 chance of the core you get being the level you want.

Fully upgraded already. I have huge amounts of level 1 and 2 cores.

For going for level 3s I try to stay mainly on the isle. I find I get more 1 and 2 in the valley.

Everytime i try and get rid of these counter tops in my house they just keep coming back even when i try and place furniture ontop of it to remove it…how do i fix this ?
