if you bought the game on switch + PC AND The dlc on switch + PC and it wont let you access and you did all the quests to that point, id submit a bug report.

however, if you bought game twice BUT DLc on switch but NOT Pc and youre trying to access dlc via cloud save then it will not work. youll have to buy it for PC too if you want it on there.
If youre behind on quests, youll have to do those.

Somewhat. I was the no access to my dlc on PC.

I bought gold edition after switching from switch to PC. Had a local save as my cloud save couldn't access the dlc.

Local save got overwritten or deleted somehow. No longer have access to dlc on PC even though I'm logged out of cloud save.

Reading on it, the dlc has to be purchased by each account playing. So I'm thinking the game thinks the local save was the main account. When I accessed cloud, couldn't have the dlc. Recently (after fiddling with cloud save) my local save got overwritten.

Hopefully they can recover my local save or let me access the dlc on my cloud save. It would be awful if I have to purchase the dlc again FOR MYSELF

I have seen you in and out trying to solve this issue. Just to confirm, this is for one account right? You're using the same e-mail to log-in on PC and Switch? What is happening when you try to access the DLC on either of them? Did you purchase but it's not showing you purchased it in your in-game mailbox?

Yes same account. I purchased the gold edition a month ago and didn't know cloud save was cross platforms. So I started a save and then found out about cloud save.

Logged into cloud save and couldn't access dlc. So kept local save.
Today I tried to investigate. Bought dlc on switch. Logged out and in on PC. Local save got deleted. No access to dlc on PC. Logged out of cloud save and still no access to dlc

I didn't want to do the "Royal Winter Star Path", aside from the free part on it. Then I clicked to redeem one of the duties and it purchases the star path with my moonstones. I know I probably ain't going to get my moonstones back, but dang.

Yes under my local save. but somehow that got deleted or something as I can't access it. My cloud save doesn't have the quests or anything on the PC, just the switch.

This sounds like you had 2 separate games, your original on Switch, a second on PC with the Gold edition, you then tried to merge them with the cloud save from the Switch, is that correct?

Originally I tried to merge them. That didn't work.

I have been playing with the dlc (not on the cloud save), just on the regular screen. However, I logged into cloud save today to see if I could access it now and couldn't. So I logged out. No local save. Just the cloud save.

So my PC save is no longer here. Cloud save is not logged in on main screen but when I click continue, it's just my cloud save from switch and not the regular save I have been playing this last monrh

Your Switch cloud save has overwritten the game on PC, DDV is a single save game, the local save and the cloud save should stay in sync for a given gameloft account - the email and password you use for the cloud save. If you have the player ID from the first PC game written down, Gameloft might be able to do something.

You don't have to have things decorated for outfit challenges. The numbers are for your outfit! Some people prefer blank backgrounds for outfits because it helps focus on that, but others prefer having on-theme backgrounds (: it's up to you. and yeah harder in the beginning

That's okay. I think it's gonna make me purchase the dlc if I want to continue with my cloud save on steam. Even though I bought it, I accessed the rewards with the local save. So even though that got deleted, I'm just s.o.l. another $30.

It sounded like you lost progress when you synced the wrong direction but your game is synced on both platforms, theirs were not tied together so they reset and started over on Steam to sync with Switch.

Your dreamsnap is still there because it was submitted, I've reset a game to restart and the dreamsnap was still valid and got the reward the next week fine.

You will need to log back in on steam on the account that you had linked when you purchased the DLC. I know you said the local save was deleted for it, that is okay, but that account is the one that is the registered owner of the DLC. If you weren't logged in to any gameloft account on steam when you had that local save that registered as the DLC owner, then we got real problems.

I had a similar problem. I’ve claimed the DLC with a wrong account. Sent a ticket, explained everything, attached the Steam receipt of the DLC purchase and gave them my user ID.

Yes, you can only buy it once on steam, because on steam you can only have one save file. To have another save file you have to have another steam account.

It might not be a glitch, it could be that you're trying to transfer too much. If you have every slot occupied and you're trying to smart transfer something that will take its stack over the max, you have to split them up before you can smart transfer. Not so smart, but it is what it is

If I just transfer it individually it works fine, it's just the smart transfer that has been playing up the last couple of days

I have a "fish from 3 orange circles" quest thing for the forest of Valor, and all its giving me is white circles and a far less frequency than it did before. I've been trying for days and have seen 2 blue circles and then once I fish in 3 different areas on the spot closest to the entrance near the plaza gets a white circle. I had an ancient core that was trapped inside a tree and when they released the last hotfix it got yeeted out where I could pick it up. So I’d say just report it as a bug to GL and then wait for an update or hotfix

There isn’t any compensation for lost dreamlight, at least not yet. But if you grind out some of the daily dreamlight duties you’ll be surprised how quickly you can get your dreamlight back up

Hey! BF is on "The Sundial" (Rapunzel's quest) and he can't proceed. He has 9 gears and the game counts 10 for the quest and it tells him to have them all in his inventory before proceeding. Not sure what to do. He can't find more gears after several days, so the game doesn't seem to be spawning them because it thinks he's at 10.

Is there still a tropical wood glitch? I am only finding about 4 pieces per day and I have the most updated version of the game.

I believe they patched this in the most recent hotfix. Do you have at least 4-6 trees in the wild tangle? You typically need at least that many trees for the full amount of wood to spawn in a biome

No, it should be working with the trees that are already there. Just wanted to make sure you didn’t remove all of the trees cause some people do this. I’m not sure what else could be causing this:/ Some people have recommended quitting and reopening the game or going in and out of your house and sometimes more spawns will appear. But also make sure you’ve done a really comprehensive comb of the whole wild tangle, because the wood can hide pretty well especially behind those bamboo trees in the lower promenade area

During Christmas event with the tree my game crashed after opening the box that was supposed to have winter mask in it but when I went back in the bag was gone and I don’t have the mask, I checked in glasses it’s not there. They said on my request when I contacted them that it should be in my inventory and that was yesterday but it wasn’t so I sent in another one and made sure my player number was right and I provided evidence and all that and they said today that they sent it again but it’s still not there? Any suggestions? I don’t want to seem annoying by sending in a 4th request about the same thing everyday but it’s still not in my inventory.

If you're only playing on one platform, you should use local save over cloud save, because cloud save doesn't consistentently save automatically. But if they sent anything to you, I think it should have been tied to your account, not your save file. I assume you checked your mailbox? Not sure where this would appear if they sent it to you; maybe directly into your clothing inventory. Long shot, but perhaps you could try the scrolling trick I just recommended for critters, but in your glasses section. #dreamlight-help message

Oh wow. Yeah, I normally go into build mode first and do a general scan to look for it (which normally works). If I can't find it, I run through all the harder to look at areas & behind buildings. If you are after dark wood, it's fastest to only pick up the 8 dark wood and leave the dry wood - the dark will respawn in 30-45min if you do that, even better is a farm but you have to remove all other trees in forgotten and pick up all the existing dark wood before it will work;

I unlocked the Wild Tangle last week and over the first few days was able to collect 18 Tropical Wood. I need 2 more for a quest and it hasn't spawned in 5 days! I'm not seeing anything about this since December on the known issues area so it may just be me?

I reached out for help with the spawning issue and their response after 2 days told me how to 'unlock' Grasslands, which wasn't the help I needed.

I'm hoping for 2 things.

1. Can someone help me problem solve why my wood isn't spawning?
2. Can someone try to gift me 2 tropical wood so I can upgrade my watering can so I can harvest my own?

I know the spawning of tropical wood was an issue when the dlc first released. This was fixed in a later hotfix. Can you ensure that you’re running the most current version of the game, by checking to see if you have any updates for it? I’m not sure if Apple Arcade games update themselves or not.

Upgrade your hourglass, and just go around using it. The higher level, the more likely you'll find cores, because the number of types of cores goes up. And bring a timebending buddy along with you to up your chances of getting more than one

I have backups, thankfully. I am seeing that the savegame data is linked directly to the UserID and Gameleft account. It appears that in the process of switching back to my account, it inadvertanly uploaded my savegame to his cloud before i switched, which used to not be a problem, but when his local game overwrote my cloud, it kept the gameloft account and userID (they are linked in itself) the same for two different save games, both originating on different devices, with different expansion access. this is a mess

You don't want to be logging in and out of the cloud save. Create separate user profiles for each of your accounts

What is your issue? It can take 3-5 days depending on how often you water it. The longer you go without watering it, the longer it will take. (The animation is broken, so you need to water it even when it looks already watered.)

I've logged on everyday for the last 5 days. It'll be dry when I log on, so I water it. And it'll show watered. But nothing progresses. I'll try it over the weekend as well just in case.

It's recommended to water it every few hours if you can. Because the animation on it is glitched, even if it LOOKS like it's watered there is a good chance it is actually dry, which will cause the grow time to increase.

Helpful tip about the vacuums, you only need the advanced vacuum in biomes with wood/shells (or that you WANT to be able to detect dropped items in) so for example all of the desert areas you only really need regular and can skip advanced, but in wild tangle you want advanced for the tropical wood.

Never use two gameloft saves on one client account/profile. In order to fix it, make sure you have your games backed up, then you need to start on one device at a time and do the following. Open the game on the profile you want your save to be on, click cloud, unlink. Exit the game. Enter offline mode. Open the game again to title, click settings, choose reset profile. Create new character, progress with new game until you can access the menu to save/exit then do. Enter online mode. Open the game again to title, click cloud, enter your gameloft info and log in.

Hi guys. Is there a safe way to move my game to a different drive without loosing my saves etc? Should I uninstall then re-install on the correct drive? Just move the files over?? To anyone who might be stuck on Eternity Isle with your game crashing while trying to go to your main Valley, try removing all of your Blue Speckled Path from your Isle! Saw someone on reddit saying the item glitched and as soon as they removed it, it solved their issue.
I did this and could finally access my main Valley after 10 days of being stuck. Maybe it could also help with other bugs, who knows?

Yes, you back it up to Nintendo do cloud and turn off auto sync to the Nintendo do cloud, but you don't want to use that save, it just in case of emergency. You want to pull the gameloft account save attached to his own gameloft account login.

Sorry I was on the phone, so hard to talk and type 😩 - just to be clear. Let's call you save save 1 and your gameloft account will be account 1. Your husband's save is save 2 and account 2. On every device where you play save 1, you need to unlink account one, offline mode create game/save game, online mode login to account 1. Meanwhile everywhere that save 2 is played, gotta do the same thing and unlink account 2, offline mode create/save game, exit, online mode login to account 2. That way all your saves are with the proper account on the proper profiles, and never ever log in to your game on a different profile.

I have some serious issues. We've been going at this for hours.

We're trying to play Dreamlight on Xbox profile B, when profile A holds the save data. We've made a gameloft account (two actually, but never mind that) on profile A and entered the game, uploaded the save to the cloud, went to title screen and unlinked the cloud (as it was giving "this is already linked to another account" and swapped to profile B/signed out of profile A.
Linked profile B to the cloud, and clicked continue. It will not load from the cloud. I'm banging my head against the wall about this

Both profiles own Games Pass Ultimate.

Has anyone suffered with this?

Unlink Profile A (the one with the save), exit game.
Go to settings, Network, Go offline.
Open the game to title on Profile B, Settings, reset profile, let it load the new game. Create random char and get to a save point, then save locally, and exit the game.
Go into Xbox Settings and Go Online.
Open the game on Profile B again, Cloud Save option, enter gameloft account and log in. Then just play?

Is that correct? And do I have to specifically sign out of Profile A? Or is swapping enough with the other profile still signed in in the background

In your case you MIGHT have to reset profile/create new game on BOTH profiles before logging in to the gameloft account on the profile you want, but that is risky obviously, so try it the way you just said first and let's see if it works, but if it doesn't, you gotta do the process on both profiles before logging in.

So for the Fly Traps I had to collect them all & then wait a few hours for more to respawn. You should now get 4 Purple & 2 Green every few hours.

Should I go offline before or after unlinking Profile A's cloud save?

Yeah, that's why I'm saying to collect them all to fix the spawn. I didn't get any new for 2 days before trying that method.

So, risky road.
Load Profile A (the one with the save).
Create/Link gameloft Cloud Save account. Play the game, save to cloud via in-game settings, quit to title.
Unlink Profile A, exit game.
Go to settings, Network, Go offline.
Open the game to title on Profile A, Settings, reset profile, let it load the new game. Create random char and get to a save point, then save locally, and exit the game.
Swap to Profile B, open Disney Dreamlight to title. Reset the profile and let it load just as with profile A. Get to a save point and save. Quit to title.
Go into Xbox Settings and Go Online.
Open the game on Profile B again, Cloud Save option, enter gameloft account and log in. Then press Continue

Hi all, I joined up on here because my daughter's having an issue in her game where she's stuck on "The Sundial" quest for Rapunzel. Something happened where she collected a bunch of the sundial gears but her inventory only shows she has 5 and there aren't any others spawning anywhere else. I contacted Gameloft but communication's been difficult by trying to explain the situation. Rapunzel won't move from her spot by the sundial and the quest only says that we should have all the sundial gears in our inventory, while Rapunzel just mentions the same thing. Kinda stinks too because we moved to Gaston's quests and one of the steps is "talk to Rapunzel" but we can't even do that until this is fixed. Has anyone had any luck with this if they encountered it?

So.... We got as far as resetting profile B, loading a new game, saving, then going online and she accidentally clicked continue while online instead of signing into the cloud. We went forward anyway, signed into cloud, and it didn't work. I'm gonna Freak™️

You are gonna have to do it exactly to get it to straighten out. Go online.
Open profile A click unlink.
Open profile B click unlink.
Go offline.
Open profile A reset profile. Create character, save game, exit.
Open profile B reset profile. Create character, save game, exit.
Go online.
Open profile you want to be The One, if prompted by Xbox if you want to use the Xbox cloud save say no, you want the local save if it prompts you here.
Click cloud, then enter gameloft info and click login. It will prompt you about do you want to log in to this email account because local save will be erased and you say yes.
