Am I missing something? I'm trying to do Eve's Valentines Day quest but the flowers on Eternity Island won't respawn... their taking an extremely long time to respawn too... I've went through the docks and the courtyard about 5 times (without dashing) and I've also deleted all furniture so the maximum amount of room for them to spawn can happen

All jokes aside the valley velvet room is a long running passion project of mine and I always love adding to it. Give me more fancy stuff tho

I would take a flower picker critter along with me and have a slow walk around the edges of the trial areas. Use a vacuum in the biomes or if you don't have a vacuum take the critter around them as well. I had appeared to have no mussels spawning at one point, I took a croc with me and it found seven I couldn't even see, they where that well hidden in the biome edges

Nope, we used to be able to cook in Mulans and bring it out, but they soon fixed that. If you want to make food for a quick energy boost, just drop it on the floor of the realm and then just fast travel into the realm when you want an energy boost

The spawn rates for the DLC's are weird, no-one realy knows what they are. Flowers and just about everything can hide realy well in the sides of the realm or in the decor. what I meant by the sides is they can hide in the rocks and foliage at the sides of the biomes

Yes, but Cheshire cat is from Alices realm, not from the premium shop. The premium shop is the one where you buy stuff with moonstones (if you play via apple arcade, you don't have that). What I mean is that no character that is required for any star path is ever being paid for in the premium shop, they are either from a free update like Cinderella or they are from a realm (like Cheshire cat or Lady and the Tramp).

As for the time, you almost have 2 months to finish the star path, so no worries.

I love how inconsistant some star path duties are, green veg, no problem harvested one, gardening buddy gave me 16, task ticked off. Eggplants, harvested one, buddy gave 16, didn't count, only one was counted. However loved the pick up sticks task, drop a stack, pick it up again, task complete

I got all 8 fragments a good 12 hours after finishing (and doing level 10 quests for both) so you should be able to go back and get the missing fragment

If you only play DLV, and that's how you spend the day, then yes lack of content is an issue.... most of us play 3-4 games that are all like DLV, so being able to jump between the games as new content comes to each of them is a huge benefit

Okay let's just think this through (not saying "ew bad idea" just giving my 2 cents)

say one of the mini-dlcs cost about 15 bucks.
They have 1 character (maybe two), quests, outfits, crafting stuff, etc.

1. Problem: how much more can they put into it for DreamBundles to still be of value and able to sell (minus the point that they don't have exclusive characters)

2. Problem: how little can they put in for it not to be a full DLC

3rd: paying 15 bucks to unlock characters, with a lot of players being 100% collectors, is gonna make DLV into, as you told me yourself, disney magic kindgom kinda

4th: those characters would have to be un-usable in quests and such because not everyone will have them

there are some more, but I don't feel like thinking anymore 😄

The issue with this idea is that you thought only 1 or 2 characters. The whole Point of the mini DLCs idea is just to not have the extra world we get because there aren’t enough content/characters to fill them. Most of us were thinking when we said mini dlc is still 4 - 5 characters and no new area. So all that with quests and furniture can be fleshed out even More

I need to vent because I’m honestly feeling frustrated lately with Disney Dreamlight Valley.

I’m an adult player who loves decorating based on actual Disney lore and atmosphere, and lately it feels like updates are leaning more toward overly cheesy, simplified designs instead of respecting the original details.

For example, the recent decisions around Lady’s house really threw me off. I had already built my valley around a more lore-accurate vision inspired by Lady and the Tramp, and now the official design clashes with everything, and since it can’t be removed, it basically disrupts the entire aesthetic I worked hard on.

What’s frustrating isn’t just one design choice, it’s the overall direction:
• More kid-focused tone instead of something that also respects adult players
• Content feeling rushed or less thoughtful
• Less attention to accurate Disney storytelling details

after sending feedback after feedback alot of my issues have not been resolved for a very long time now.

I love this game and want it to succeed, but lately it feels like the creative direction is slipping.

Am I alone here?
Are other adult players feeling the same way about tone and lore changes?

Let me explain more this way

The biggest issue isn’t the story, it’s the two different versions of Lady’s house. We already had a full-size lore-accurate home, then we got a smaller doghouse version of the same location. The scale doesn’t match, they can’t logically exist together, and since we can’t remove one it breaks immersion and valley design for players who care about accuracy and layout consistency.
