The recipe only appears at the very top the very first time you check the crafting table during a quest. Afterward it goes to its proper place in the list.

Its highlighted because the quest you're tracking wants you to place the item in the bind.

If you have both expansions, you're going to need to scroll a LOT. You arent even out of the main valley crafts yet.

You have to scroll past everything until you get to the sbv section. You'll know you're there when you start seeing grecian items.

I finally have enough storybook magic to unlock another area. Tough decisions have to be made here. It’s either I unlock The Fallen Fortress to find out where Princess Aurora is and get a green dragon. Unlock Teapot falls to do the last Fairytale Trial and get a red dragon. Unlock Fiery plains to start Hades quests.

Ooo I thought you had to do only 3 trials to get inside of Maleficent’s castle since 3 makes the beanstalk grow so you can get to the castle, but didn’t know it required more than 3 to unlock plus didn’t know you had to do more mythical trials to gain access to Mount Olympus. Once Mount Olympus is unlocked does Hades still live in the house you build for him or does he move to mount Olympus?

When i still had quests, I prioritized star path until i was timelocked, then did quests and/or dreamlight duties depending on what i needed next.

There are only 3 trials for Maleficent and 3 trials for Mount Olympus. Hades still lives in the house you build for him.

You have to do both. There is no either or.

I did Maleficent first because I love her. She's my fav villain. Honestly it doesn't matter what biomes you unlock first though. It's personal preference.

One quest in the starlight path wanted me to fulfill 4 of Remy's wishes. Remy required a dish with Tilapia from me, I looked around the compendium about where I can find it, and then took a while and unlocked the Sunlit Plateau. Mind you, I am only playing the game for 2 days, so I haven't gotten any of the Lion King characters, and only later - after unlocking the Sunlit Plateau - I read online that Scar is the one who gives the quest to clear the river.
I went into the cave, got to the end, and gained the ginger, vanilla and sugarcane to brew the root beer... but whenever I try, it keeps telling me I don't own the ginger inside the recipe, but it does appear in my inventory and part of the ingredients I can throw into the pot.
I realized the ginger comes from the Forgotten Lands, naturally.. and Idk whether this is some kind of glitch, or whether they soft-locked me until I unlock everything?

I even have a screenshot that explains this better xD I do not own the Forgotten Lands yet.

You can make dreamlight. Although, I recommend that you keep doing the duties because one, making dreamlights uses up dream shards. Like 10 shards for 250 dreamlight, so keep in mind of how much you want and how much shards you have since you might also need shards for other things as well. Two, while the duties may seem a little tedious sometimes, they do add up and before you know it, you have a lot more dreamlights than you began with. However, if you truly need to craft dreamlights to get dreamlights faster, it's fine. Just keep in mind how much shards you have and how much dreamlights you truly need. I also recommend doing this sparingly because again, it takes up dream shards.

There is no particular order. It all depends on what you want and need at the at the moment. There's people who even unlocks the forgotten land first just so they can start harvesting pumpkins.

i lucked out and had moved everything to my sky snow island so it was pretty barren and easy for me to find lol

Do we know if there has been any explanation as to why lure traps are intended to not be placed in the valley? We can place vacuums etc in both eternity isle and the valley and there are snippets in the valley to catch so I am abit confused on the sudden change.
