Just wanted to say I hope one day to return to this game because I love it but with all the factions losing their weapons it was a major bummer. But I love the game still for what works. And i especially love the dedication to making realistic battle simulator. And I’m one of the ones that should complain the most cause I play on controller. To me this game will always have a special place in my heart.

The main weapons I’m talking about are the ones for factions in workshop.

Oh I think you're talking about the Hyrcania factions which are the modern US and RU, there is a server with those. It's LoyalGames #1

Game is unrealistic building simulator, with most of matches being Fortnite-style milsim ADHD rushes. It’s worse than it was, factions don’t matter when gameplay is severely broken. Controllers are so slow and inaccurate, you don’t have a chance against mouse masters unless using gyroscope type aiming on controller.

I play against bots online gaming is too toxic whether it’s the rules enforced or lack thereof

Even advanced bots don’t provide enough challenge. Only with players you could do mimicry, real strategy and trickery. Lots of toxic people, yet why care much and feed them toxicity? With players that don’t exploit mechanics OHD can be so fun. Even losing is fun when game is properly balanced
