it would be very nice

And we are some creatures with several pairs of legs/limbs that we can crawl and at the same time aiming the gun?

i can do it with a gun 👍

Then do it and share your findings 😉

I mean maybe you could add it for handguns but even that is questionable

just tested it with several fire arms (SBR PDW, and an ~18 inch AR-15). I was able to aim pretty well but obviously I had to reduce the speed of my crawl. Then again, I havnt tried actually shooting while crawling, only aiming. But so far i was able not just to point aim but to aim through a holo sight and stay reasonably on target. The faster that I crawled the more my aim would sway, but reducing my crawl speed to about 60% of what I was going before was the sweet spot between staying on target and speed

Also it was fairly easy with a handgun to be honest

The reason I would like the feature implemented to some degree is because it makes the game feel more janky and less fluid when you barely tap your "A" or "D" key to slightly adjust to the side and your character has to un-ADS and then re-ADS after moving just a couple inches

#

maybe the devs could implement a feature where you have to move a certain amount of space before it forces the un-ADS (maybe like around 6in - 12in)

#

That would make it so that for significant movements, you would have to un-aim, but for minor adjustments you could continue aiming. This would make it feel a lot more fluid, smooth, and realistic in my opinion

I would find this a really good thing to implement for handguns because you would have a genuien reason to use them in certain situations. This would make not only for a bit more realistic gameplay but also make handguns more useful in general and allow for players to use them in a way more tactical way. It would add more depth, you'd have to think more about what you do and how you play in a give situation. I am by no means a weapons expert nor do I live in America to test it out myself, but I would guess that you could add this for certain small firearms too, like the uzi, grease gun, HK SP5K 9mm etc. Ofc accuracy would be shit for those, but again correct me if I'm wrong

This requires work on animation, developers need to be reminded after the update, it was said that minor things will be taken care of after the big update
