I should have added the Allied helicopters that they used in World War 2. The American "Sikorsky R-4" helicopter was the main one:

if they were used it was really just for supplying
helicopters started being used more in the Korean war so having them in a WW2 setting would not really be needed
the tech was really new and they did not want to risk sending it to combat in high numbers
Yep, I saw the helicopters listed, so I thought that I'd at least post the most common ones used during WWII. As Fennie, mentioned, they were mainly used for transportation and reconnaissance.
