Give all eras of war love and attention

In my opinion it seems the modern era of war is getting all the love and attention leaving things such as Vietnam, WWii, and wwi to rot as all the teaser show things for modern era. So if you can please give the same attention as if all the eras are good it could bring in more players as some may like old era warfare or modern era warfare.

Speaking of ww1 it’s such a horrible sight when Germany is using the wrong rifle. Unless I’m wrong they didn’t use kar98ks or walthers.

Today I checked one of the factions and they still use the Kar98k though on this other ww1 Germany faction, I found that it still had the same issue but has more classes

not sure what faction you are using, but im 90% sure those were replaced back in the december update. @pearl shard ?

to be clear, there is only one base game WW1 german faction, so if you are using anything else i cant speak to that. as far as im aware the base game WW1 german faction should be using a kar98 (non k) and now uses the mauser 1914 pistol, and there should no longer be a p38 in that faction

WW1, Vietnam and Modern era character factions got visual updates. WW2 character factions will have updates in the next update.

WW1 Germans got MP18, Mauser 1914, and there is a Mauser but its not animated yet.
WW1 US got a Revolver and a 1918 version of the BAR

Vietnam US got the Hush puppy and the scoped M16A1 added back in and the NVA got the DP28, TT33 and Chinese Type 56 SKS

The rifle I loaded the game and it hasn’t been updated. Or is that just the pre render or something?

The Kar98 has been replaced in the WW1 German Faction with the Gewehr98, repurposed animations and tweaked to suit the straight bolt versus the
bent bolt, but yes it has been replaced.
It wont show in the Main Build until we update, unless you have access to the dev build, there you can see it.
and/or
you can download the new Development Build SDK on EGS (Epic Game Store) and that is on par with our internal build.
WarriorJ has been a big help with getting era specific items swapped out and looking accurate.

you can take a glimpse at the new content being made.
Or be patient and get surprised when we have the big update.
