This is the weirdest thing ive seen too…

Are you able to successfully reproduce this with steps that I can pass along for testing?

Main build hasn’t been updated in a couple weeks, so nothing has changed on our end that should be causing this, so I’ll need those steps to know whether it’s our issue or something on your end

Its not really that complicated, its basically a normal game

Im on singleplayer at the moment of playing the game

Idk if it occurs on multiplayer, But basically

I just load into a map (singleplayer), Start the game with any kit, switch to my bandaid

And the recoil starts flying

that does absolutely nothing for me... are you sure you arent triggering a DPI change in your mouse or something with a hotkey you might not be aware of?

if you cant reproduce it, then its either a one off that doesnt constitute a full fledged bug or have any specific cause or reason, or its a problem on your individual end

ok, and perhaps double check any mouse software you have, or system level hotkeys you might ahve had set that shifts your mouse sensitivity and/or DPI or something

Thanks for bearing with me, I think this is an issue which occurs only once as you mentioned before.

all good, it happens. you have video, there clearly was something going on with it before, but the culprit of it is just going to be unknown. most ofthe time, its some weird setting you might have that could have changed or locked your mouse into something that made the sensitivity super high.

I had a bug in my "OHD Overhaul [Vehicles]!" mod where the recoil would be multiplied by some number every time you equipped it. It's fixed, but if you were playing on the "Tweaked AAS" gamemode, that is what caused it.

If this is the case, I don't think this belongs in the bug-reports, since this is not related to the base game.

Also in the future, make sure you add if you are using any mods.

Yeah so just to make it clear, when people ask what build it is on, what version etc.

mentionning it's using a mod, is a very important 'detail'

like you were trying to report a mod bug, to developers of the the vanilla game

If this is the case, I don't think this belongs in the bug-reports, since this is not related to the base game.
