#VR Mod?

why
They may already know it is definitely not possible, I don't, but I would guess it wouldn't be because the UE4 VR C++ class references aren't included that you would include at the start of a project.
Now...if someone made something in UE4 and got what they could into OHD while asking the devs to support it, I feel like that's possible, but just not a priority for probably a long time because the VR playerbase is still such a small fraction, so if someone was dead set on making the content, you'd likely be to the point where you could just make a standalone project anyway.
Asking Vorpx to support it which might work offline, well, that's another story.
I know there is some value to just playing with a mouse and keyboard but seeing a 3D environment, which is pretty cool, and then controller support can be "hacked" in anyway.
small xD, alright. yeah lets go with that..
we'll see
Yep. In total VR accounts for 100 to 200 million total players compared to 3 billion total players in all of gaming.
Operation Harsh Doorstop has around 1000 to 1500 players playing as of release.
It's not easy to simply extrapolate percentages, since people into gaming aren't often exclusive VR or exclusive non-VR players, so important statistics such as how often a VR owner plays VR is relevant.
As a VR owner, compared to normal gaming, I probably play less than 5% of the time, especially once the novelty wore off and how for me, VR gaming comes nowhere close to mainstream gaming in terms of quality of gameplay mechanics.
As someone who would put Half Life 1 likely within my top 10 games and Half Life 2 within my top 20 (rough guess), I would be surprised if Half Life Alyx made even my top 100.
