Dang I really hope they will do this; as someone who doesn't have a PC, only a mac, the specs are good enough it should run fine, so I am really hoping they will port it over

im on linux running it through steam's proton GE client. Im sorry but i know literally nothing about apple OSs so i wish I could offer more assistance.

I have no idea. You can try enabling steam play on your apple OS steam client. Then steam will theoretically install proton stuff (on Linux this is how it works) and I use the experimental version of proton.
