feel that the iron sights are a bit too small because whenever i aim in i have to squint to see the enemy otherwise but the scopes are fine

Games like cod often adjust the iron sights to make them easier to use if you model them accurately it can be very hard to see through them in a game because our eyes work differently to a game camera

yea sights are meant to be depictive of the actual weapon model but im sure future ADS fov and a potential zoom function would fix this

since it mostly comes down to the shortcoming of a video game on a screen vs. the real human eye
