Not been in the drawing mood but some unfinished doodles I did a while ago I didn't feel like sending. I've honestly lost my drive to draw lately...
...because I've put all of my time on way more modding! I got interested and decided to look a bit into NSMBDS modding for custom stages. When I was younger I was a very big fan of NSMB3 DS and thought it always would have been cool to make something of my own, so now more than a decade later I thought to give it a try, and besides a few issues this isn't so bad. It's way more intuitive than I thought it'd be. It's not a perfect first level but I'm pretty proud of how this is turning out for a first go at it.
The other rest of my free time has gone to Miitopia modding, which I have been doing since 2023 despite not having finished a single thing. These screenshots are kinda old, but it's stuff I'll probably reuse in the near future since I've been starting over for a while now. I have been upset about the way I distribute enemies to make my mod both a harder yet still balanced and free of cheap stuff version of Miitopia like unlike what other people have tried and have done
I plan this stuff way too seriously for how stupid and draining it is
80% of my edits for this are done purely through hex editing
The reason for that is half not having any good experience with editing stuff for this game through CTRStudio and the other half is some things just being way more annoying to do any other way. It guarantees that no data that would possibly break the file is created. It does however make editing material animations a living hell, but they are purely for the aesthetics
It feels a bit odd to be talking about something other than art when all showcases are just that but as long as there's no issue I hope I can keep using this as a way to just blather about the stuff I work on

A draft I made today in case I ever revisit it to fix it and make a proper custom sprite set out of it. Palette could be better and her proportions are a bit iffy. No comment on the outline, I made it a mess last moment on purpose.
