Is it possible to extract model from snapchat filters and can someone explain to me ?

I'd like to make some animations with these characters but for the moment there's no 3D model on the horizon until I came across this filter. Could anyone help me ?

I think it's possible, I've already seen the 3D model of the car used by the characters in the film "The Bad Guys" but I have no idea how to do it, so any help would be most welcome and I'd like to thank you very much in advance !

Does snapchat have any sort of web version?

Like, would under any circumstance it be possible to see the live 3D model in a web browser window?

I imagine the models have to be stored on the phone

Like they get downloaded and then cached, if you have an android device it’d be worth peering into the files of app and looking for some sort of cache folder for downloaded assets

From there we could look into extraction

I don’t have any android devices and i’m not confortable jailbreaking the ios devices i own that can run Snapchat so yeah

I’ll give it a shot on an android emulator though

Hello and thank you for your reply, I've connected my Android 12 phone to my computer but even though I've checked the box to display hidden items, I can't see any files in the snapchat cache and data file and the device in general. Do I need any external software to be able to display the data? If not, I understand that it might be easier to extract the 3D models using an Android emulator and there might be an external application like Ninja ripper (I don't know anything about it, I've tried searching and I see it come up a lot, I went to the site to find out a bit about how it works but I'm not sure if it's possible).

I've tried the Windows and Internet version of snapchat but it's reduced and only has a few predefined filters which doesn't allow access to recent filters, but if not I'm ready to maybe try it on iOS, do you have any advice or leads so that I can find out more ?

I went to the site (Which is also the app Windows version) but it does not give access to the recent filter and it only has a few predefined ones but I wonder if it could work on emulation ?

That's what I was thinking, after which I'm not at all familiar with the Ninja Ripper application. Have you already used it ? My computer is having a few problems, so if it's easier for you, maybe you could give it a shot ?

Otherwise I'll try it with my computer, but it might be complicated...
