My โ โ โ review of Godzilla ร Kong: The New Empire on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6cMD9t
To simply put, epic titan battles, as magnificent as you can imagine. We also get a ride through the life in the Titans' world. The hierarchy of food chain and the different creatures of the world are showcased. There isn't a lot of creative writing, however, the occurrence of important plot points are well organized for the average audience to ...
@safe kraken tera problem kya hai
Apna kaam se kaam rakhna
Sala theek se toh hindi ya bengali bhi nahi bol sakta
My โ โ โ ยฝ review of Monkey Man on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6daoij
A revenge, action thriller, of a kid from the slums. He is avenging the horrific death of his family by a brainwashed, corrupt, religious group. The story has several emotion filled moments. In my opinion the group led by the antagonist could have done with more build up. However, the backstory explains the threat and the obsessive connection ou...
My โ โ review of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6fKfXn
I think the writers, editors and especially the camera operators weren't suited for the potential this movie had. You can see the efforts put into extraordinary action sequences and the various stunts the team executes behind the messy curtain of poor capturing strategy, and story structure. The movie is exactly what you expect from the trailer,...
My โ โ โ โ โ review of Back to Black on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6k1Nff
Watch this to dive in to the gritty, musical and flawed life of Amy Winehouse. Her origins and the soul roots of how she "lives her songs", is crafted beautifully for the visual eye. Not only are the songs felt to be lived in, they accompany a story that leaves you questioning life choices. If there are any flaws in the writing of this movie, th...
Anyone here seen Civil War 2024?
not yet
Oh!
how isit
My โ โ โ โ review of Article 370 on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6l28dj
While Kashmir Files was dealing with the impact on the personal lives of Hindu's from Kashmir, from the genocide. Article 370 explores, why the article was generated, why it was so difficult to remove, and the strategies that were taken place to remove the Article without any innocent casualties. Most of the film seemed to be shot in location. S...
wanted to see it, reviews aren't that good, so chose not to visit theatre
im not very attracted to the subject matter itself so im gonna keep my biased mindset away from watching it
It's interesting, will watch it on OTT. We all are biased, just see it as mere entertainment, prospects of internal conflicts piques my interests, how a house fights among itself, many have said, "characters nor plot was narratively convincing". We should appreciate attempt to showcase Civil War on screen, nonetheless,
My โ โ review of Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Two on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6m6Htt
I'm obliged to watch this as a general superhero animated content nerd. My feelings right of the first watch, is composed of a lack in structure and an exhaustion from overly-stretched plot points. To a point where I often found myself looking away from the screen due to a lack of interest. The pieces are all there, but the writers struggle to j...
My โ โ โ ยฝ review of Crakk: Jeetega... Toh Jiyegaa on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6qgQOr
This is clearly not a regular run of the mill movie that focuses on an all rounder, message oriented story. The purpose here is, as all Vidyut Jammwal movies, delivering thrilling stunts and action. On that front, we don't have anything like what we get to see here, within the ranges of Indian cinema. The movie is a very grounded approach to the...
My โ โ โ โ review of Shaitaan on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6qGojx
I got emotionally manipulated by this movie in a brutal way. This is definitely not for the light hearted, as the plot dives into the most uncomfortable situations. The mythic tale of black magic playing with the family of 5 like strings on a puppet will make you explore all the dark possibilities such control. The story is very long winded in n...
this movie sucks
I liked it a lot more than expected. I don't make reviews to please other opinions.
Firstly, haven't read your review and just stated my opinion there, not sure why you'd reply, didn't tag you.
That's just cringe knowing that you disliked my review without even reading.
huh? you're smoking screen, now. that's just me showing disapproval, have seen movie, so didn't like very much, not as much as you did, so used thumbs down emoji. Not gonna read movie reviews which I already seen, it's waste of time.
Kids
all this for a thumbs down? lol
you ain't behaving like adult, just saying
not interested in bickering, so have fun here, good day,
Awe poor baby's having a temper tantrum.
@rich monolith @slow sable Seen Patch Adams today, beautiful movie, shows us importance empathy and how patients should treated & cared for, to improve quality of life. Interestingly Munna bhai was inspired from Patch Adams, check this one out, if you haven't already.
Ok
Will do check it out
My โ โ โ โ โ review of Amar Singh Chamkila on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6r7MIF
The musical culture of the Punjab region in India is brought to life in this biopic of the singer, who fought to show their reality to his people. The movie starts of with the format of a musical genre, then blends the colours and the flavor of Punjab into it. This adds a contrasting balance to the threat filled life lead by Amar Singh Chamkila....
My โ โ review of Race for Glory: Audi vs Lancia on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6rqBXx
It's difficult to judge this movie, as it is a very linear story of events that transpired in the rally competition between Lancia and Audi. Creatively, I felt that it lacked an element of the thrilling sensation that rally competitions bring. It's clear that the creatives know the stories very well, however to tell it cinematically is a differe...
My โ โ โ โ โ review of IF on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6sGgCJ
Think about a safe space for yourself. Think about the times when everything around you felt comfortable, stress free and you never worried about being yourself. This movie is for the people who miss and struggle to get back to those bright memories. The ones who truly feel detached from everything. I felt all the warm, fuzzy and personal emotio...
My โ โ โ โ review of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6xtzNZ
I am one of the later bloomers to the Mad Max saga. Thus it was a theatrical experience like nothing I have seen before. I was immersed into the wastelands of the vast, empty, orange outback of Australia. Locations unlike any other. The emptiness brings you into the environment the more you feel it. You are in for some incredible motorized actio...
This quote hits hard, Dune 1984 was good, not sure why many hate it, was well made considering this was produced in 80s, stellar cast, everyone perfectly fits in their roles, VFX was ok too. I just feel more connected to 1984 version, perhaps it's due to how wonderfully bleak it is, still very engagingly crafted.
My โ โ โ โ review of Late Night with the Devil on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6yHdZh
A fascinating exploration of what it would be like, if the late night show, during its prime years, formatted its script and structure according to the opportunity to interview the devil himself. It sets a very intriguing sets of circumstances for the topic of the show to be explored at its full capacity. There's a sense of mystery in every scre...
A disparate group of individuals takes refuge in an abandoned house when corpses begin to leave the graveyard in search of fresh human bodies to devour. The pragmatic Ben (Duane Jones) does his best to control the situation, but when the reanimated bodies surround the house, the other survivors begin to panic. As any semblance of order within th...
Watch "Trilogy of Dead", haven't seen 2 nd 3, would be great if someone streams whole trilogy here.
My โ โ โ review of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6BFM2R
An entertaining motion picture on a group of rogues destabilizing the Nazi shipping lines behind the curtains for the British. It's an interesting adventure with events happening parallel to each other. The story is simplified to a set of circumstantial events. There are 2 narratives running parallel to each other. The simplistic structure helps...
My โ โ โ โ review of Eric on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6CMGrJ
This was a slow and steady paced show, on a set of bizarre circumstances that lead to the disappearance of a child, Edgar Anderson. What's fascinating is how this 1 thread leads to the revelation of multiple dark and unknown secrets. The genius behind these revelation is how organically to the script, it explores the issues related to the societ...
I just seen Barbarian 2022, one of best thrillers I've seen in a while, brought me to the edge of seat and gave me creeps.
My โ โ โ review of Under Paris on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6FWn9t
A thrilling depiction of the wildest circumstance, where a new species of man eating shark infiltrates the canals of Paris. The concept of the movie was explored with nuances by the modern french societal climate. This was entertaining to watch, as the french idealists were getting eaten alive after making a series of dumb decisions. The creativ...
My โ โ ยฝ review of The Watchers on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6G2LCL
I think it's a coincidence but the beginning of this movie is very similar to " The Strangers ". Make of that, what you will. I will admit, the idea or the background of the story isn't very clear to me off the first watch. From what I could understand, the story seems to explore the concept of really powerful creatures, who can shape shift into...
Lovely, Dark and Deep 2023 is a horror/drama movie, story of a Ranger trying to uncover origins of mystery which is haunting her since childhood. Not so entertaining, non-linear screenplay might be off-putting for some, but if you want to watch in woods mystery which offers surreal visuals then give it a try. Cinematography of the film is breathtakingly imposing, you just can't take your eyes away.
My โ โ โ โ โ review of The Sympathizer on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6HSy3V
This is a slow burning show, very much likened to the pace Shลgun takes to establish the country, it's people and the time periods the show is set in. The perspective however mostly stays with and is narrated by the lead character, The Captain. The uncomfortable history between Americans and The Vietnamese is visualized with brilliantly structur...
My โ โ โ โ review of Ultraman: Rising on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6HVUtH
I am flabbergasted by the emotional levels this movie excels above. This is a well rounded animated movie with heart, passion and depth. This takes place at a point where the mantle of Ultraman is being passed on to his son, Ken Sato. While there are exceptionally made, classic battle sequences, between ultraman and kaiju's, the movie also takes...
Anyone here seen The Strangers 2024?
I didn't enjoy it.
How was your experience
I ended up routing for the killers, given how stupidly written the couples were.
But atleast the sets were practical
It would be a fun m9vie to do a drinking game with.
haven't seen, was recommended by someone on web
seen The Strangers 2024, it was lame. Barbarian was f*** awesome
today seen The Ruins 2008, was an average flick
