Is it possible to trap a player in mid-air without using an invisible block beneath them?
Sorry, I didn't express myself clearly.

Ah, well you could set their gravity attribute to 0
I didn't think that worked ! I'm currently playing Prop Hunt, and I thought it was cool to be able to hide in high-up spots.
It works fine?
Well, I started a few hours ago and spent a lot of time debugging, but everything is finally coming together. My next goal is to enable calibration against a block so it can be placed and aligned along the XYZ axes, while allowing the player to rotate the camera without rotating the block itself. This is very simple to implement; I'm just still undecided on the specific method—whether the player should press right-click or F, for example.
I made a short video to introduce it, I’ve been asking for a lot of help on the server thanks again to everyone who helped, it’s been great and now, with the experience I’ve gained, I plan to see this project through to the end, as it could be really fun to release. https://discord.com/channels/935560260725379143/1519829623456927907
