hi im new to the data pack creating community and i watched a couple of yt videos on it but none took me farther than using normal commands in datapacks instead of chat\cmd blocks so if u know any videos that teach well and are simple please share them with me tnx

Commandblocks can use what is in a datapack and a datapack can technically create commandblocks (with commands/functions in it).

The two are however not related by any means... yes they can both execute commands with or without player interaction but they don't rely on each other directly.

As for chat... could you rephrase what exactly it is you are looking for? We might be able to give directions that are more suitable if we know what it is you want to do in/with chat.

no i said i want a video series or sth that could help me learn like a course or sth but on yt going over basics and also covering more advanced stuff nothing crazy but i want to know about all the features that minecraft datapacks can control (besides things that need a deep knowledge of java like world genration etc.)
