#Markers specific to a single entity

I summon many markers in this datapack to mark specific, important locations. Unfortunately, many entities use these markers to do specific actions. I can't filter the entities that can use these markers based on distance, because they are very commonly close together. Is there a way to filter the available entities that can use a specific marker?

I don't understand

#

So does minecraft assign each player an ID that increments every tick, and we make our custom ID that does the same, and we see if they match?

no, you have to implemen that on your own

So how would I use this to filter who can use a marker?

#

The marker is summon by a command block, if that helps in any way

Did you even read the guide?

#

I'm not here to read to you what the guid says.

What I understood is that it makes a player ID that is made the instant a player joins, and incremented every tick

strange marlin
#

it doesn't increment every tick

Oh

the tick advancement triggers as soon as the player joins but because they have the advancement now, it doesn't trigger again
