If you're just generating it manually from the jigsaw block, you're going to get some undesired behavior that is not representative of how it will actually generate when made to spawn naturally
Generating manually from jigsaw blocks applies a random rotation to the first new piece, rather than connecting it to the parent jigsaw like it normally would
so i should use /struture instead?
That isn't a command and it's also misspelled, but /place structure will be more reliable and consistent to what the actual natural generation will look like
Yea my bad but the jigsaw isnt working
Honestly i don't know what i did wrong (2nd picture is the center, 3rd one is the room)
Show screenshots of the parent and child structures with their structure blocks bounding boxes, and where their jigsaw blocks are
Try checking the logs when you generate the structure
Nope, no error
Then it could be:
- The template pool can't find the structure where you've told it it is
- Your structure json has too small a
sizeormax_distance_from_center
If max distance from center was the issue then what should I set it? I put 1
yea max distance was the issue, finally!
Thank you so much
why is rest of structure not generating underground?
You may have your template pool entries set to terrain_matching instead of rigid
Yup! that was the issue, hopefully now everything is done for me
