This is a lite-total-conversion of vanilla survival gameplay that transforms the Overworld into a frozen wasteland. Many blocks, recipes, and other mechanics have been changed to facilitate a new survival challenge.

By unused I meant blocks that I didn't personally use in the Frostpale

I finally got around to playing the datapack! Here's what I liked and disliked:
The world generation
The villages (their aesthetic and the buildings)
the ore generation (i kept seeing so much gold and redstone underground lmfao)
the steel armor and toolset
the retextured wooden tools
the dungeon rooms and the idea of ancient ice
and other things that i forgot
Vindicators and witches spawning way too much and in inconvenient places (my only 3 deaths in my playthrough are from witches and vindicators that spawned in places that i was unable to avoid)
having to smelt cobblestone into stone just to get tools that don't break immediately
not being able to inherently craft a furnace
food sources and coal being difficult to find for the most part
that's pretty much it
The shield recipe uses iron ingots instead of steel. Is that on purpose?
And, did you modify anything in the nether or end?
anyways, I loved playing the datapack. I would love to see more updates on this!
i personally think that vindicators should not be able to spawn in caves and witches should be less common (i've seen multiple occasions where 2-3 witches were in the same place)
and maybe adding pillagers to the surface would be nice probably

I just pushed an update to reduce them a bit, may go further if needed. Working with small numbers so the solution may end up being making everything else way more common, which I'd like to avoid
