Hello! I've been trying to follow a tutorial on youtube regarding structures, but have run into a problem: After I had placed the structure NBT inside the datapack's respective folder, it says it is "not availible" upon trying to load it in. Screenshots have been provided, altered due to the "No politics" rule, of the respective paths and commands used.

🙇 Helpers Arise!
Please note that you still might not immediately get a response since all helpers are human beings and volunteers (and also might be sleeping right now)
If you're in 1.21+, the folder is structure, not structures
Thanks! This sadly did not change anything
I rebooted up the game when I renamed it
In which case, there's probably another issue, one which I have no idea about
However, nothing aside from the NBT file is required to place a structure with a structure block, right?
If there's anything else I need to share to identify other possible problems, please let me know!
You are correct
Try using /place template ... and see if it lets you autofill your structure
No such luck!
Nothing autofilled
Alrighty! I'm worried about people giving me the side eye over what I'm trying to add as well, but screw it!
So... any further piece of diagnosis material needed? I have no idea at this point
Wait a second
I think I may have an idea what's going on
One I entierly missed before
Just to clarify, data packs are per-world and resource packs are world-independent, right?
Because I... kind of put the whole thing into the resource packs folder
Yep, that will do it. Was gonna be my next suggestion: You may not have installed the data pack correctly
Yeah
Well, I suppose I better go over to the resource packs channel to figure out how to get structures running in that, because I wanted them to work world-independently
I know
Structures are handled exclusively by data packs, and therefore are necessarily world-specific. You can use mods to make them universal, but that still wouldn't be a resource pack thing
Oh, alright, my bad!
It really sounds like you don't, so a little humility, please
I appologise, I didn't know it was a data pack only thing
Now could you stop being so patronising?
Aaanyway
Thank you for your assistance
I'm not being patronizing, but now I am informing you that your attitude is out of line.
It's okay that you didn't know, but you were acting like you did while I was trying to help educate you, politely. You decided to be a dick
Please use /resolve if you no longer need help in this matter
Alright
I knew that they were different things, just not that they handled different things
