#Enforce title text

Hi, I have made a line of text using the actionbar title command. In this case, it is important, that noone removes this text. I have put multiple repeating command blocks into the world, but you can still simply put one repeating command block with a blank actionbar (" ") and the text will get overwritten/deleted.

Can anyone think of a way to keep a text on the screen nomatter what? Thanks as always 🙂

Is there a reason you are using command blocks over a tick function?

oblique sphinx
#

Unfortunately, the functions are no better :/ a single repeating command block is all it takes to remove

novel oar
#

Right, was more asking from an optimization standpoint

oblique sphinx
#

Oh yea, Im fully down to use functions 😅

Unfortunately that's just the way title commands are, another title can overwrite. There used to be libraries that packs could opt into to basically share the actionbar specifically on a queue system, but I don't think they're maintained anymore and obviously only work if everyone is using them

#

Are you expecting rogue agents to be placing command blocks to remove your actionbar?

oblique sphinx
#

anyways, thanks for the feedback 🙂

novel oar

Hmm well, maybe it would be helpful to better explain what the purpose is, and we can see if there's any alternatives

#

Cause I don't see under what context people would be intentionally trying to remove it that they A: wouldn't be able to remove it some other way anyway, or B: could be stopped by YouTube copyright

oblique sphinx

Well, its a "watermark"... Honestly, Im down to use any sort of text displaying on the screen.

#

Some people are just trying to remove it, bypass all crediting and even claiming to have built the maps themselves...

novel oar
#

Aaah, I see

#

I mean again, they're gonna be able to do that with anything

#

Cause like the other option for specifically on-screen text would be a bossbar, but that can be removed even more easily

oblique sphinx
#

Aight, thats what I needed to know 😅 I´ll try to think of a way to secure atleat sum credits outside of Minecraft 👍

#

Thanks a lot!

What I've found is that a simple credit reference that is one-time and early in the project is often not worth removing, especially if it's tied to a mandatory progression point

#

An advancement, even

oblique sphinx
#

Oh I havent thought of that 😄 Ill include something similar if you´re cool with it... Honestly though, I have been surprised by how much are people willing to do to remove that thing

novel oar

In my experience if it's non-intrusive they don't really care

oblique sphinx

One guy event went as far as removing all of the command blocks manually, another person rather put a white big box over it in editing lol

novel oar

They'll at worst ignore it
