i dont know why but adding a predicate to my function made it stop doing every tick and i have no clue how to fix it

There is nothing wrong with this file

If your tick function has a syntax error in it, that will prevent the whole file from running.

i've tested the function itself and it works

and there isnt any red in vsc

So the issue is with the predicate. It may not be checking what you want it to check correctly, and so always returns false

Probably a positioning issue. You may need to run the command at @s

as only changed who is running the command, not where the command gets run
