#Datapack lacking OP perms

I gave it permission level 3 in the server.properties file but it won't execute any command that requires permission level 3... not only that but it just doesn't run the function at all. I'm trying to get it to ban users, or at the very least remove their whitelist.

banning users is permission level 4 btw, maybe thats the issue

not only that but whenever i have "ban" or "whitelist" it just doesnt run the entire function

Right, if the permission level on the server is too low then functions that have those commands fail to validate

Did you restart the server after changing the setting?

I don't know what to tell you then. I've done this before, and it really is just as simple as changing the server properties to give functions a higher permission level and restarting. If you're on a non-vanilla or Fabric server, maybe there's some other step due to plugins or something, but we of course can't advise on that
