Well for one you're running first as all pigs, but then again at all pigs, so every pig is checking if there's a player near every other pig, instead of just itself. Instead of doing at @e[type=pig], do at @s, since the pig has already been declared the executing entity (which is what @s means)

Secondly, it does look like the distance you're using for tagging the pig and setting the player's score to 1 is different, so that could be causing some confusion

And thirdly, you're making a similar mistake in the last command as with the first, you can just do at @s again since the player has ready been selected as the executing entity
