I want to change what affects the Hunger bar to be more Beta like

I want Hunger to behave more like Beta Minecraft, back when you basically never needed to eat/heal if you played well enough, with the downside of no sprinting.

These days you get hungry just by breaking blocks or swimming or even attacking mobs, which sucks.

I would like to remove exhaustion from everything besides sprinting, and regenerating (and the Hunger status obviously)

Is that even possible?

the only way I can think of this would be possible is to give back the hunger that is trained by breaking blocks, attacking etec

you can remove the hunger drain from damage taken by editing minecrafts damage types
