If we're speaking just in terms of a social environment; improve education. There's a lot that's wrong with systems in different countries when it comes to learning and understanding (America is prevalent but not the only one).

• Improve the quality of teachers. To do this, give those who wish to teach better access to materials and study patterns when it comes to anyone involved. This also would mean giving teachers better pay rolls and improving their overall morale.
• Better Personalization. Allow students to personalize what they wish to study outside of the main curriculum (Math, English, & History in this case) once they reach middle school.
• Include cultural & ethnic activities. Gives students awareness to how different cultures function alongside what goes on in different ethnic groups (ties in with History).
• Better Student Counseling. Give student counselors a way to better communicate and speak to students with physical or mental disabilities.
• Help guide parents. Give schools a better way to work with parents and educate them on how their children act during school. That way there's a way to help guide their student in a home environment.
• Remove mandatory Homework. Probably a more controversial take here in education, but not every student wants to be constantly learning. While there should be a way to give students Homework, I think it should be available for those who wish to learn more complex systems to what they're currently undergoing or for those to take their off time from school as a way to relax.
• Real World Teaching. Taxes, Budgeting, Community Work, etc. in this sense. There's not a lot that's taught in schools in how they are to become an adult when it's something that's needed for moving on into college or away from their families.

whether you have faith in a religion or not, a lot of morals are rooted from religion. I don't know any texts back and front but there was a Buddhist teaching I learned a few years ago.
It's about a turtle rising up an ocean, and when it pops its head out, its head just happens to stick through a hole on a plank of wood that was floating on the surface. That's an analogy for the probability of you being born as a human. You could have been born into any other animal but your life as a human is one in a billion, so you should cherish it and enjoy it to the fullest.

These alone are words I live by and I believe that we could have a better world if everyone just loved themselves

I think it’s okay to recommend a religion (especially in this theoretical “better world” we are constructing) because I’ve seen it can really help people who struggle to find meaning (a line is crossed when we argue which belief is superior)
