Advancement for cauldron filling with lava from dripstone

I don't think you can do this (at least not simply) but thought I'd put it out there cause there's much smarter people here than me. Could you have an advancement for when a cauldron get filled with lava from a dripstone? The only way I can think is very complicated by storing where any cauldron is placed and constantly checking all cauldron states and what's above them... which is a bit too complex to be worth it.

You can't make it an advancement that grants automatically, no. With the new exception of the Crafter, advancements are pretty much limited to detecting actions taken by/that happen to the player

But you can of course just make it have an impossible criterion and yeah, detect it grant it via commands
