#Custom name for recipe

I'm on the recipe generator website and I simply just want to put a stick with a nether star to make a shiny stick and call it "Shiny Stick", but the minecraft:item_name and minecraft:custom_name both both give errors in vscode when i copy it across.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong...

It's because custom names use json format

#

So it should be "\"Shiny Stick\""

#

Or just type "Shiny Stick" into misode
