Are you asking how to stop the structure from intersecting trees and spawning in water?
yeah
i think i know how to stop them to spawwn on water but untersecting tree idk
Well, for the trees, you just need to make sure that the step your structure is spawning in (such as surface_structures) is before those trees, and that those tree features have strict enough placements that they can't then spawn on/in the structure
a question, am I not supposed to make the trees appear in the biome placed features settings
Of course you are, how else would they spawn?
idk when i look in template i don't see trees in minecraft biome
I don't think I understand
nvm I thought trees would appear naturally without having to do it in the biome settings. So I don't know how to make structures block the spawn of trees.
You need to make the trees unable to spawn on the blocks the structures are made of
From what I've seen the trees only spawn on grass but it's the structure that spawns after the trees and goes through them.
Then you need to make the trees spawn after the structure, like I said before
That's the problem, I don't know how to do it.
I said so up here
Unfortunately there isn't a lot you can do about that. If water is able to be in that biome, then you can't really do anything else to prevent it from spawning in the water.
You'll probably just need to specify a terrain adaptation in your structure file so it adds some land around the structure if it would spawn on water
oh actually to test I generate a world only with a single biome so that it goes faster but normally this should not happen
I forgot that the ocean was a separate biome
