💬 While you wait, take this time to provide more context and details.

So just for clarity, the bingo pack currently has a team selection method, but it isn't random?
If the way of selecting the team is that they step on some concrete blocks, but that doesn't help me since there are so many people it is better that it is random and that the same time is equal to the number of players
So a simple yes would have sufficed
Can you please share the function(s) that handle the team selection currently?
This is the lobby.mcfunction
And these two are what I created one for to be random and the other for assignment
yes I don't believe it but well according to the creator he is going to update it I still don't know how it works but there is good
Gotcha. Well in the lobby function, I think you should be able to just delete everything from # Unirse a equipos al pisar concreto to # Si te uniste pero te fuiste básicamente hacer lo mismo que init
Just look at everything in it and there are still other folders missing
And then for the two functions you have, I would say they are a bit overengineered to say the least.
Before I recommend what to do, just want to confirm: how do you currently want/have the team assignment to begin? Are you just gonna have the event host run the function directly?
This isn't super useful right now
By the way, the command that I created to be able to run the random team selection feature works, it just doesn't do anything /trigger squad_random
Ok I already do
OK, so that is how you want to handle the team assignment, with the trigger? And that trigger is supposed to run which function?
This is supposed to be random_team_assignment.mcfunction
Alright. So let's make sure the trigger works first before we go and fix that function. Can you show me where you are checking that trigger's value?
Okay, I think this is getting a little out of hand for the time that I have right this moment
I'm sorry I'm new to this
Hopefully another Helper can step in, or if you're patient I can try to help further another time, but I think you have certainly jumped into the deep end trying to modify such a complex (and honestly, poorly written) data pack, and unfortunately are lacking in some early fundamentals. For example, this is not at all how to make a functional trigger command
Don't worry bro I know what I got myself into and I know it's horrible for the last few days I've been looking at other datapacks but I have no choice but to finish this so that everything goes well in the event I'm doing
Although the event is today if I don't manage to do this I'll see that I manage at the end and wait for a response for when I do it again I'll have finished this and at the same time learn more I' I'm going to read wikis of this
