i want to change the texture of a spesfic villager

I think you could change their biome variant clothes

Or use something like optifine

With villagers it may be possible (with wandering traders at least) since they don’t have a lot of animations (no ATMs really helps here haha)

You can put an item in their hand and on their head

And they move with body/head

Not sure abt the actual technique but I know that TCC uses it extensively for their mobs

i cannot cuz optifne breacks most of the other mods

also i do not have a problem using mods

If you want the system optifine introduced but can’t use optifine, search for "CEM", that’s the name of the system and there are other mods replicating it

if you use the item method (giving them custom modelled items on their head and hands) this would be possible by detecting if a player names a villager via advancement and triggering the commands to give them a tag and the special items and whatever else you want to change, im not sure about other methods
