hey! so I have a minecraft realm that is going up for Thousands of people so I really need help. Basically its going to be similar to world of warcraft. And theres a bunch of things that need to be coded in such as a RNG, Party system, a Quest System, How to make custom boss attacks, and more! Please dm me for more details. (also we do not pay, unless if you have a cheap price and you're good)

That sounds more like you want to commission free work and not really like you want help doing the coding yourself 🤔
pretty much actually
That's not the purpose of these channels nor this server but I'll leave it up if someone is interested
Don’t get your hopes up though, you are asking for a lot ^^
my bad ngl
I'm just in like
a very desperate need yk
When you say Minecraft Realm do you mean official realms or a Minecraft Server
i dont think you quite understand the magnitude of the systems youre asking for… im willing to help with parts, but i dont think anybody here will be developing the entire thing for free, especially if you dont put in the effort to input/learn and just ask us to make it straight-up
I’m not just asking for just 1 person though, I have other coders too.
Also I do understand that it is hard, so I apologize if it seems like it sounds like I’m lazy or anything really
its ok, im just saying i personally think its still a little unfair to ask other people to do all the work of putting together an RPG system (especially if you intend to profit off of it) without pay— but anyways, im not here to be moral police, i dont know your whole situation anyways. im just trying to warn you it might be hard to find people to help, but im willing to help with parts or tips if you give me details!
Right, I totally understand. From what I’ve been told anyone that is familiar with what were going for said it was easy to do, and most of the things could’ve been done in 1 day.
Its a realm
most of the individual systems are fairly easy, but it would still probably be pretty time consuming to actually apply them; e.g. making plenty of quests with unique objectives, bosses with unique special attacks, items with unique special properties, or even just the tedium of mass producing like features. anyways, the main thing that concerns me straight away is that parties might be difficult— there is a built in minecraft team feature that would theoretically make it easy, but there is a hard cap on teams with unique side UIs you can have with the base system somewhere around 10 iirc.
some of these things might work better as plugins
The thing is that there is 10 quests (not too sure if thats a lot) there is only 2 more bosses to be made, also we don’t need custom weapons, even if we did they are really easy to make. But yeah the Party System is our main priority, thats the only thing that stumbles our coders. We had 1 coder that knew how to do it but he quit because some controversy with him and the Co Owner
ah alright, then thats more manageable than i expected!
the party system thing would be much less difficult if you give up the typical health bars of your teammates on the side of the screen or above their heads (or if you had it so you could see everyone’s health above their heads), it would just require a little hardcoding because you cant procedurally generate teams
the quests’ difficulty to code prob just depends on the flexibility of the base system, and the content/longevity of the quests themselves
if you want only parties to be able to see each others’ health i can try to do research but dont know a way to do that off top of my head
also, are your “coders” datpack, plugin or both coders?
They’re datapack people, also why did you put in quotations?
just cause you keep saying “my coders” im not implying theyre not 💀
I didn’t mean to imply that they’re slaves😭
I just meant that they like working for me etc
Depending on how good the people are at the quest thats the thing
Some of the quests are like waves where they would need to kill 21 mobs for 3 waves
While some are parkour, some are boss fights, etc
How I want party systems to go is that I just need a party systems with the limit of 4 people joining it, then when the party leader starts a quest (has to be specifically when all the party members are on the same level or higher) they all join
ok, then thats fully doable with scoreboards luckily
im in school rn but ill detail how to do that later
Oh ok
Tbh due to the fact that really nobody knows how to do the party systems, I might as well do it myself
